I came to Kamila for this session after many months of deep digging and personal unfolding. My mind and heart have been on quite a journey of late, but although I had recently come out of the tunnel, I realized that my body had been somewhat forgotten during the odyssey and was feeling crumpled, tired, sore, and certainly not in alignment with the releases and optimism that my insides were now feeling. When she asked me what I felt I needed, I admit that I was somewhat vague, but I knew from past experience that Kamila would *feel* me better than I could probably explain. It's like she is able to distinctly hear what my body is calling out for.... She'd start working on a certain area and I'd suddenly think, "ah, there's a spot there....", but before I could barely finish my sentence she somehow already knew to adjust her attention and approach to it making my body sigh in smiling yeses. After a significant back strain that made walking, sleeping, and standing very painful, I had two deep tissue massages at Equilibria over the course of a week (by Valentine and Kamila). Both were wonderful. After each massage, I felt better, more relaxed and able to return to almost normal function. After my second massage, Kamila recommended Zero Balancing with Brad Austin. I had never heard of Zero Balance before, but Brad took a great amount of time to explain it and how it could offer relief in a way deep tissue massage might not have. He also took time to dive into my life, my stresses, how I manage stress, etc to help me identify my trigger points of stress accumulation in my back (where I hold on to it). Zero Balance was a different approach, but it was magic on my back. At one point during his work, I felt the area of my back that was causing all of my grief release (something the deep tissue massage did not achieve). When I left, I felt so relaxed and at ease with my day. It was incredible. Over the course of the next 12 hours, my back improved, I was able to tie my shoes, touch my toes and walk comfortably. 48 hours later, the pain is still gone and I'm back to my normal self. I was absolutely amazed at how Kamila intuitively connected to me physically, energetically, and spiritually. She put so much love and thought into the session even before I arrived. During the session, she did massage with hot rocks that just melted the tension away and energy work using sound therapy. I went on a journey of self-awareness and love.
