Customer service was unbelievably poor. Cranky, bad tempered sales woman actually accused me of "screaming" when I called "hello" into an empty shop. "I'm on the phone!" was how I was greeted. If I hadn't needed a birthday present for a special person who loves flowers, I would have left. Never again, however, will I shop here. Someone needs a lesson in customer service. read more

Gardening tools, landscaping supplies, seeds, pots of all shapes, colors, sizes, lawn ornaments, wind chimes, etc. I'm partial to the Autumn splendor of VT in all her regal colorful glory. And this nursery sure celebrates the season! Decorating with gourds, pumpkins, hay bales, scarecrow, apples, mums, & fall plants. Replete with the most extraordinary ultra fresh cider donuts! Served piping hot from the little window. You can watch them make them & roll them in sugar. The air is rife with the scents of fall. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. read more

Staff was extremely rude! I was driving by and stopped for a quick picture for my sister's travel blog. However, I was strongly reprimanded for stopping and was told they were trying to close. However, several other families were still strolling through the grounds. I understand that it was closing time, yet there is a professional way to kindly let someone know you are closing. There is no reason to belittle or yell at a customer especially one that was actually there to take outdoor photos to be shared on a platform with over a million followers. Your rude and demeaning attitude will only hurt your business. read more

We had our wedding at the West Mountain Inn in Arlington, VT. Jennifer at Equinox Valley helped create exactly my vision! She grew 15 different herbs for our centerpieces. (instead of table #s we had herb names: Rosemary table, Mint table, etc). She placed them in beautiful wicker baskets and even covered the dirt in moss because "No one should be looking at dirt when they are eating dinner! hah!) She delivered the herbs to the venue the day before and also helped us find a tree to use in our ceremony for a tree planting ritual. Stopped by today while on vacation, as their website mentioned that they have a variety of orchids. I was very pleased with what they had to offer. Lots of lovely phalaenopsis, of course, but plenty of others. The prices were very reasonable and the plants themselves were very healthy. The woman who cashed me out had tons of knowledge and was a delight to talk orchids with. I'll definitely be stopping by again next time I'm in the area! Or maybe before I leave! In addition to the orchids, they had tons of lovely succulents and a very respectable outdoor selection, even this late in the season. I would be hauling a lot more plants back to Ohio if I had room in the car! read more

Came here for the first time and loved it! They had a wonderful sprawling display of pumpkins and fall decorations out front that made for great photos. The inside store is small but had cute fall and Halloween decorations, and the lady working was so nice! Their nursery had great variety of pumpkins to choose from, in all shapes and colors. We decided to try an apple cider donut because fall in New England... need I say more! I would give the donut a 4 out of 5. I like that it was tossed in cinnamon sugar and warm. It could've been a bit more flavorful but you could definitely taste the apple and spices! Would definitely visit again. read more

Great nursery with lots of plant and flower offerings (I saw some absolutely breathtaking orchids that were probably the most spectacular I've ever seen!), gardening/planting needs, seasonal gifts and whatchamacallits. But I'm not really reviewing the nursery itself, I'm reviewing the wonderful pumpkin patch and Halloween/Autumnal displays I saw here last week. Here's why I loved it... varied and elaborate scarecrow set-up in a *community* (how cool is THAT?) pumpkin patch + a stand selling homemade "apple cider" donuts, hot coffee and hot chocolate = pretty much the coolest place to take seasonal photos I had come across in gorgeous southern Vermont. Just the epitome of a perfect and lovely autumn day in Manchester. read more

Came in a few weeks back for their Annual Pumpkin Festival. Easily the most quintessially fall event I've seen for kids: Pumpkins everywhere, Hay rides, Corn Maze, Bouncy house, a bunch of vendors, etc... The place is great and so was the selection. The gentlemen that helped me (forgot your name buddy!?? Sorry!) was extremely helpful and will go back to him again! He was very helpful, attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. However, the older lady grandma-type at the register seemed bitter and overly serious. She had no personality and unfortunately taints the overall image for the company. She needs to remember that word of mouth advertisement is FREE! Above all, wonderful selection! Good community resource, lots of suitable plant and flower items. Their harvest display is outstanding.

The nursery has a wide variety of plants and flowers at fair prices. Cats wander the property and are typically friendly. I like to visit the nursery just to look around. Inside there are a few ponds with turtles and a few large birds. Sometimes you can score plants at a bargain! read more
