I had his family, our Church and The Good Lord but I also had the staff at The Missouri Bank in Sedalia Missouri, they were there for me the entire way and they are still helping me. Everyone there goes above and beyond simple care. They put human compassion into their effort. Some of the most valuable things on Earth are priceless but cost no money. Stephanie Karbinas worked with me before my husband's death. She worked with me just after he passed. There were times when she would ask me a question about our accounts, and I had to ask her to repeat herself. She repeated her questions with compassion no matter how many times she had to repeat herself and she had to do it a lot. I was paralyzed with grief when my husband died. There were times when I was taken over with memories and stopped hearing what anyone said to me. I was listening but I just didn't remember what was said to me. I had to ask many people to repeat themselves to me and no one got tired of repeating themselves. Stephanie never got tired of repeating herself to me. I knew she could see I was sinking into deep morning, and I will always remember the compassion she and the other staff at The Missouri Bank gave me. When I am under great stress and grief my legs don't really want to work. I told everyone about this before my husband passed. I want it known those people at that bank helped me walk after my husband passed when I had trouble with it. They stayed by my side when I moved through the bank to make sure I didn't fall. How many places do that? I will always be thankful. It was necessary to do paperwork after my husband's death. These people at this bank were kind and patient with me as I have never had anyone be at a bank before. Stephanie helped me today with some of my bank work. She goes above and beyond. She is patient with me, and I am grateful because I have anxiety, and her calm personality calms me. She is always in a good mood and always she is human, kind and understanding. Hanna always gives me a smile and ask how I am. Debbie does as well. Lydia and Heather are compassionate as well. All the women gave me compassion before and after my husband passed. They still do. Vaughan has never tired of me calling and Rob is always happy to greet me. The guys at The Missouri Bank in Sedalia are courteous, kind and supportive. Stephanie was the first to ask if I was eating and sleeping after my husband passed. I wasn't and I told her. She looked me in the eye and said, "You have to eat. You have to sleep. You will get weak if you don't. I want you to try for me ok?" And I did but it was slow going, so much so that the other ladies began to ask. Stephanie suggested eating lightly and drinking water. One of the other ladies suggested that I go out into the sunny day, but my mourning was so great that I cannot remember who it was. I was a sad case for quite some time. They care at The Missouri Bank at 1601 South Limit Avenue, in Sedalia Missouri and I am grateful. I will likely morn my husband's passing for the rest of my life but having people like my husband's family and the people at The Missouri Bank in Sedalia are making the difference between me staying in deep morning and living a life to remember my husband by. I have always been happy and comforted by the professionalism of the Missouri Bank and I will always bank there.
