My favorite lash place ever! I've gone to many places since I was 17, now 23. This is the best experience I've had repeatedly. They even gave me a gift when I got my first big girl job. I'll post some pics of my lashes, they save your lash map on their computer system so you never have to remember or worry about what set, and length you got, and curl pattern, etc. Very well priced, the cheapest brow waxing in all of NY for $8. I typically pay $60 every 2 weeks for my refill, or $70 if I wait 3 weeks. ...Just wow! Interior-was so fancy, clean, & relaxing! I had the pleasure to work with such a nice lady who was so kind and gentle and very informative as well. I used a groupon for $36-on a new set and seeing what it costed originally ($100) was definitely worth the regular price as well. It was my first and definitley not my last time with them. She gave me a blanket and played relaxing music and gave me some water and a cool fan for each eye. Yes there was burning but not redness. This place changed their name due to a new owner. Unfortunately the quality has gone downhill. After getting lash extensions for less than a week, multiple lashes extensions were twisting. I went back in for a lash touch up and again, within days, this was happening. This was odd because I was paying for light mink lashes and I have gotten this length multiple times before without issues. What I discovered when the extensions were falling out is that they weren't using individual single lashes. They are using ones that sprout into two, hence weighing more and resulting in the twisting. I am also skeptical that all of the lashes are really mink as some look and feel quite tough but I cannot say for sure. read more

I found this place after having a TERRIBLE experience at place in the city . I did a lot of research on other places close to me and I couldn't be happier that I found this place . After my first my appointment I knew this was the place for me . They are clean , very polite and the best part is I can schedule an appointment through text! How convenient is that ? Diane , who s also the manager there did my lashes . She is amazing.it doesn't even feel like I am having anything done while she is putting the lashes on because she is so gentle. I got natural set with mink lashes and they look so good and I get a lot of compliments on them ALL the time . LOVE this place! Came here as a referral from a friend. Amazing lashes every time I come. My whole family comes here now. It changes the whole look of your face. It instantly gives you a uplifting and younger look to your eyes. Location is clean and neat, you definitely need  an appointment, but you can text them which is very helpful. I called in to ask if they do foreign fills, the associate that answered assured me they did and scheduled an appt for the next morning. I arrived to find out they *do not* do foreign fills but after some back and forth, they offered to do it for $80. I felt that was extremely steep considering I only needed about 20 lashes on each eye and they were running 2 separate specials: a Groupon for $30 new set (60 lashes per eye) or 50% off any set for new clients (roughly $40). I declined because I felt they were hiking the price unfairly. One of the women, who I assume to be the manager, offered $20 off and I said fine because at that point, I was already there and needed my lashes done (traveling from out of state). It took about 15-20 minutes to complete the fill. They don't look bad at all, but I'm still disappointed with the price. Definitely wasn't worth it. It was exxxxtremely hot in there, my neck was sweating- so I'm a little concerned about what the retention will be like. Other than those issues, the place was clean; that was the only upside. I recently bought a Groupon not realizing I had bought one for the same place two years ago. Their policy states that it's for new customers only. I thought I was a new customer. When they told me I wasn't I tried to find a solution so they could get their money and I could use the Groupon, they were less than helpful. They said it wasn't their policy but Groupons. They continued to deflect and told me to call Groupon to resolve instead of trying o help me themselves. So I reached out to Groupon who told me I was able to buy this second voucher as they allow people to buy them as a gift. So they told me they would refund my purchase and someone could buy one for me as a gift. When I called Lash love back they wouldn't answer my call. Finally I texted them and they told me that they would not accept any Groupon from me even if someone bought it for me as a gift. They were rude and did nothing to try and keep me as a customer. A friend who had never been there before and bought a Groupon called to confirm her appt that I had made for her and they told her that they would not accept her Groupon either. She had nothing to do with my dilemma. In a year where businesses have been shut down due to the pandemic you would think they would do anything to keep customers. This is unacceptable. The rude and curt manner should be noted. I never post va reviews as I think I that one bad experience should not break a store but buyer beware. I hope when they read this they will choose to change their customer service. read more

I started going to Nails by Johana sometime around the end of May(ish) for basic manicures and they'd last for the few days. Working at a day camp over the summer, I decided to get a gel manicure for a special occasion. Normally they'd last about 10 days for me, HOWEVER, here, I get a full 14 days before they grow up or even chip (if they do). GEL MANICURES LAST 14-16 DAYS BEFORE GOING.
