Always well stocked up, super fresh & great quality, and above all, a friendly atmosphere and wonderful, courteous customer service. A great new Manager & a fantastic Team of people super dedicated, competent, helpful, hard working and really really lovely. And lets not forget the DJ... the lovely background music is every time just the cherry on the cake!

Open every day until 11pm, it offers all one needs just a few minutes away from the Bounds Green tube station. It has dairy products, fresh vegetables, household items and much more. In total: all you need for your home if you just want a good dinner and clean house. It is also located directly on the 221 bus route, giving it easy access to both Bounds Green and Wood Green as well as the surrounding areas.

I get my extra special Halloumi cheese at Demos, dates, and peach juice. There is inexpensive bread, authentic olives, a cold bar and a bakery section. I can not say enough about Demo, mostly because my mouth is too filled with pomegranate seeds originating from the 4 for a pound pomegranate deal. The staff is very helpful at Demo and I am often assisted with out asking for help..a rarity in London shops! You cannot go wrong at Demo. An added bonus is I have not seen one child in this shop. I shop at Demo in quiet contemplation looking for non-animal rennet cheese, which they have if you read the labels. If you have a sweet tooth ( I don't but the girlfriend does) you'll enjoy the Baklava from behind the bakery counter. One more thing of note, the food is very fresh at Demo. You should be careful with the bread because it doesn't have a long shelf life (not being crammed with garbage and all) so it is a good idea to freeze some of it, if you don't anticipate using it all. You do not want to lay out your mezze and find out your bread has gone off. Good on Demo for keeping it real.

I cannot resist the baklava, they have a selection at the back of the shop where you can pick your items singly so you can try new ones. the prices range from 75p to 1.50 per piece. You can also get a pre packed selection for 2.99. I also get my cartons of juice here as they have a cheaper and wider selection with more unusual flavours than Waitrose (across the street). Demo is cheaper than Waitrose and can get some real bargains if you look and compare prices.

For food lovers, it's well worth a visit thanks also to the other great vendors in the vicinity.

That being said, even during the lockdowns, it is open fairly late and is really only one of two stores on this street that can be considered an actual supermarket. Enormous though it is- by UK standards- it isn't hard to get around inside and has two floors to keep things simple and easy to navigate, as well as an underground parking garage for those who dare to drive on these streets. Food and seasonal grocery-related items are on the bottom; clothing, toiletries, cookware, toys, and everything else are on the top. The prices here are very good for most items, and the quality ranges from, "I wouldn't trust this," to "I'll take ten!" The variety alone makes it worth the trip and the rather long checkout queues, as you're likely to be able to find everything you need in one go. Just don't expect a whole lot from the staff, as most will give you a lukewarm response, at best. If for any reason, you don't find what you're looking for, there are two other- smaller- grocery stores just a few minutes' walk down the street. And personally, I rather like walking here. There was something in particular I was looking for and while they didn't have it, 2 different associates were very nice in trying to help me locate it at another store. Overall, a nice place. Good location, lots of bright and natural light (always a bonus in any shop), and good selection.

Sheep heads, enormous bags of coriander and celery salt are things I have never bought anywhere, but they are on offer here! A lot of the time organic food shops are too pretentious and overpriced with food not up to the price you're paying. Here, it's the other way around. The place looks like a greasy spoon from the outside, but get inside and sit down in a relaxed and very friendly atmosphere with a choice of all kinds of organic food that tastes incredible. I had the chicken wrap today, it was organic but not only that, they obviously spent a lot of time slow cooking the chicken and it wasn't just breast, it was proper stuff. They make it all themselves and it's obvious in the taste that they really care about what they serve. Such a rarity, such a treat and completely within a good price range. I paid £15 for 2 wraps, 2 cakes and 2 coffees (which were also great). So, I hope you will give this place a chance and realise that the lack of a pretentious vibe is a welcome attribute in this area where it's mostly form over function. Morganics has the content, the quality but lacks a decent image. It's understated and that's why it's probably not on yelp already. Gone is the morganics butchers next door to be replaced by a nice little cafe, selling cakes and coffee. The staff here are always lovely and the walls are always stocked! Highly recommend!

I feel I should get paid…read morelike a top PR the amount I have enthused for the new store... which was long overdue being modernised and this Summer saw Tesco Watford become the talk of the town and the nation, as it's the first to get the flash new overhaul and it made the news. Literally. The renovations were undertaken without closing the store and whilst I admit I did stop shopping here while they were being carried out, I returned, opening day, with a fist full of vouchers to entice me back. You now have to queue to get in the car park. But...it's worth it and they now have car park assistants who direct you to spaces (layout has changed in the car park and disabled bays are now near the main doors). Outside is the same except for the swanky new Giraffe restaurant we are lucky to have in Watford now... But that deserves its own review later! Inside. Customer services is in same place, bit small and under staffed for a super store perhaps. There's a new 'scan and shop' section which I still need to try but I see a lot if peeps are using it. Food to go area is fab. Think salad bar to help yourself, loads if sarnies to chose from and pre packed salad and sushi goodies. Also it's a good section to nip to if picnicking. Plus there's self serve tills for this section alone so it's super convenient. The new bakery. Wowsers. So middle class and rustic. I lurve. Wooden table a la farm house laden with baked goods and hearty loaves. Also a counter with lots of posh desserts (quite pricey) and cakes. It's quite hard to grasp this is now where all bread and cakes are though. But it's early days. The toilet is in this section. No sign though. Annoying. And only one in whole hench store which is disappointing. Harris and Hoole. Love the look. Great lattes. Will sample food am sure. Always busy and not keen on the buzzers they give you to wait for coffee. Bit ott. But there's a coffee cart directly outside store so I usually grab one there as less busy. Florence and Fred. Happy days. This section looks amazing. Trolleys are able to mooch the aisles and it really feels like a proper clothes store, better fixtures and layout/feel than Marks or Next. And stock is great, fab designs and cheap as chips. I always come away with something. Fitting rooms are spacious too. Rest of store super laid out. New pizza counter (still not a patch on Asda's counter pizzas though- listen up Mr Tesco!). Fruit and veg section is epic, so spacious and easier to navigate than before. Make up and health sections look great as does home wears. Proper department store vibes. Loving. Dangerous for my bank balance. Opticians and pharmacy both helpful and knowledgable. Tills are still bit queuey but lots of people are checking out the store so busier than usual I think. Defo worth a visit. You can spend a whole day in here which I guess is the point as it has a destination shopping feel now. They even do yoga and kids classes here. Massive thumbs up!!
