After my vehicle collided with a deer, I contacted the Maphre Insurance customer service to make a…read moreclaim. I had the car towed to a shop that they recommended. The adjuster recommended this shop. On e the car was there, they gave me an estimate of around $8k. Once the adjuster looked for the cheapest parts and waited months to get them the estimate went closer to $5k. The body shop told the adjuster that the headlights that were ordered were not working correctly. The adjuster told them to use them anyway. When I got the car back it was several months before I drove in the dark and the headlights were pointed toward the ground. I took it back to be adjusted. The adjustment was all the way up, because they were faulty headlights and were unable to be adjusted up. I could not see any farther than 15 ft in front of me. Try driving at 65 mph and not being able to see. The adjuster save money and did not care about someones life in jeopardy. As long as he got his paycheck and got a pat on the back for saving money. He should be terminated and the 1st adjuster I talked with should be re trained at the very least. An insurance company should have the customers in mind and not the paycheck. But, unfortunately this is how it is in the world today. No one cares..
