But we were overly sickened with what was to come. My friend got a chicken strip dinner and a chicken sandwich. The dinner came with the fries, a side, and the dinner roll. From the start, the food was off. It tasted fairly different, even mine(I had a seafood combo). We were expecting it was just because it was made later in the day twords closing. But what he was treated with was a blue, moldy dinner roll and a bun for the chicken sandwich. I mean, light blue, almost a turquoise color. After we had seen it, 2 of our 3 person party(myself included) got very sick. It was not pleasant, but it doesn't end there. It gets worse. We call dee gees. Ask to speak to the manager. We are told to bring the moldy dinner roll in. We live in Defiance, so it's not that far for all of us. We return to dee gees, go to the window. We are told by the manager, "There's no way that we would ever sell moldy bread, you planted your bread and swapped our bread to frame us." He proceeded to tell us that it's our fault and he didn't care. The manager did give him a $10 refund, however that wasn't the total cost of the meal. Beyond the cost and the refund, we were all upset. We left only after calling and leaving a message with the health Dept. So be aware everyone, watch your food when you come here. And watch out for the manager(owner?). Customer service for this incident is definitely a 0/5

We stopped in for some ice cream this afternoon (Sunday) and it was slow. My daughter had a small…read morevanilla with sprinkles in a cup, I had a small butter pecan in a cup, my mom had a medium coffee lovers in a cup, and my dad had the founders favorite in a cup! We all enjoyed our ice cream except I wish I had had pecans added to my butter pecan ice cream. I didn't realize that the butter pecan ice cream didn't have pecans in it. Lol. I also suggest asking for the ice cream to be put in the next size cup so that the ice cream doesn't drip everywhere. My ice cream was dripping outside of my cup before we got to the car. We ended up taking our ice cream to go and sat down by the river at Independence Dam. It was nice! We will definitely be back again soon!

Portions are large and I often have enough for leftovers. It's similar to Chipotle except Puerto Rican style - you choose your meat and build your own bowl/plate with your desired toppings. Except tastes a lot more fresh and homemade.
