But we were overly sickened with what was to come. My friend got a chicken strip dinner and a chicken sandwich. The dinner came with the fries, a side, and the dinner roll. From the start, the food was off. It tasted fairly different, even mine(I had a seafood combo). We were expecting it was just because it was made later in the day twords closing. But what he was treated with was a blue, moldy dinner roll and a bun for the chicken sandwich. I mean, light blue, almost a turquoise color. After we had seen it, 2 of our 3 person party(myself included) got very sick. It was not pleasant, but it doesn't end there. It gets worse. We call dee gees. Ask to speak to the manager. We are told to bring the moldy dinner roll in. We live in Defiance, so it's not that far for all of us. We return to dee gees, go to the window. We are told by the manager, "There's no way that we would ever sell moldy bread, you planted your bread and swapped our bread to frame us." He proceeded to tell us that it's our fault and he didn't care. The manager did give him a $10 refund, however that wasn't the total cost of the meal. Beyond the cost and the refund, we were all upset. We left only after calling and leaving a message with the health Dept. So be aware everyone, watch your food when you come here. We all enjoyed our ice cream except I wish I had had pecans added to my butter pecan ice cream. I didn't realize that the butter pecan ice cream didn't have pecans in it. Lol. I also suggest asking for the ice cream to be put in the next size cup so that the ice cream doesn't drip everywhere. My ice cream was dripping outside of my cup before we got to the car. We ended up taking our ice cream to go and sat down by the river at Independence Dam. It was nice! We will definitely be back again soon!

This restaurant desperately needs improvement on DoorDash deliveries. There isn't a dedicated area to pick up deliveries like other restaurants. So tonight, the 5th employee that walked by me finally asked me if I was being helped. She was very polite. The previous 4? No acknowledgment at all! No eye contact, no smiles... DoorDash gives drivers a time to pick up orders. Almost every time that I arrive, this restaurant hasn't been able to deliver a pickup order within the allocated time frame. The longest I have waited to pick up an order has been 35 minutes. I have waited more than 10-15 minutes on other orders, and drivers have the option on unassigning an order if they have to wait that long. The problem with that is that if the order is unassigned, the customer has to wait until another driver comes to pick it up, and I'm sure that especially on non pizza orders, burgers for example, those orders are not hot at all. As a customer, if your order from this place isn't hot, this is probably what has happened. This restaurant has issues and I won't go into them here, but this is to educate customers as to what happens when you place an order here. Expect a delay on your order. And if your order is hot, and your order has taken awhile to be delivered, that means your DoorDash driver waited until they prepared your order.... Customers need to keep this in mind when ordering from here.
