I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this spot until now. Since I went with my boss recently, I have a…read moreperfect excuse to do it now. I talked him into lunch here and he said he hadn't been in a LONG time, and overall, we were both very impressed. I mean, it was good before, but they've really stepped up their game since my last visit. The inside is still the same, lots of comfortable seating, and a very laid back atmosphere. Their food menu seemed larger than I recall with lots more tasty options. Their libations menu seemed larger too. We started with the classic chips and salsa along with an order of fresh guacamole. Both the salsa and the guac were excellent with a nice jalapeno kick. I couldn't stop eating both and it was tough to choose which I liked more. For our mains, my boss ordered a bowl of Azteca soup and two chicken tamales, and I ordered the tacos al pastor. We didn't wait long at all before it was all ready. My boss's soup was HUGE and he really enjoyed it as well as the tamales. My al pastor was some of the best I've had in a while and I liked that they had big chunks of pineapple in it instead of tiny pieces like many places. It also had a nice spicy kick that made my nose run a little. Totally worth it though. I really forgot how good this place is so this lunch was a great reminder. I think I'll be bringing my lady along next time for a meal and some margaritas.

What a nice hidden gem! Being from Southern California.. I am picky when it comes to Mexican food…read more. we're just different lol. Anywho! This is a hidden gem and this will be my go to place. First of all their menu is legit - for example... Cabeza and tongue taco! Yum! Asada taco - was actually really good and flavorful compared to what I've had at other places here in Cincinnati. Pastor taco - this was really tasty, the marinade on the pastor really came through and the char of the pastor really was good when paired with the pineapple in the taco. Cabeza taco - Heck yes! I will come back here to order many cabeza tacos LOL, this was actually really good and sometimes it's really hard to get cabeza right and they do it right!

Absolutely! I went with my boss and co-worker to get some tasty tacos. Their menu is bigger than any other taco trucks I've seen so far. They do offer a few drinks but you're better off going to the Marathon station nearby. The taco trucks only accepts cash but there's an ATM inside the Marathon. I went with three tacos; one chicken, one al pastor, and one brisket. My boss also scored some chips and guac for us to split. Once you order, you get a little pager that buzzes when it's ready, and the service is very fast here. They have a few picnic tables nearby so you don't have to get it and run. The tacos were absolutely delicious and the sauces they gave made them even better. Their guac is excellent too and you can really taste the lime juice. This is a taco truck only worth checking out for sure! Next time, I'm bringing my lady for some taco time!

Let me tell you, I didn't complain because the Birria Equites was right back on my radar and it didn't disappoint Oh! I tried something new! Cactus! It is so good!!! Hubby got a different dish, Del Mar Trio and he loves it! Ok, with that out of the way, let me do a standing ovation to the staff! we were served incredibly fast! Everyone loved their food and was so happy! One of the people spilled their drink and a gentleman was there immediately cleaning it off the table, someone else right behind him with a mop. Literally cleaned and dried within minutes! This place is beautiful to look at, clean, consistently good, great for couples or groups! Darly our server was a pro the whole time! Thank you all for a great lunch experience!

I was upcharged…read morewithout warning on two meals, my cocktail arrived with a dead bug floating in it (tequila and soda), and the total for three drinks we ordered at our table cost $60. When we questioned how this was possible they told us that each shot of house tequila apparently was $9.99 and they put doubles in ours. When I asked to see the manager to protest, he said something about the menu changing or something--not really sure. All I know is that this place charged $20 per cocktail, the first beverage arrived with a dead bug in it, and the charges for these cocktails--which were fine but not swoon-worthy--was not clearly stated. Poor customer service when we politely addressed it with the manager. I do not usually post negative reviews but this seems so duplicitous and sneaky that I don't think it should be swept under the rug.
