Great range of local and imported beers and wines and also a decent range of ciders as well. They are big supporters of the local Cool climate wine producers and are good at making suggestions for your next purchase (and actually getting it right!) My only complaint is that on some products they can be a bit exxie compared to the big bottle shops, but that is to be expected and the rest of their good points outweighs this small quibble IMHO.

The bar population went from 2 of us plus a handful of others at 9:30pm, to overflowing with people and packed some 30-45mins later. The Durham has the feel of an old English pub, which I thought was pretty cool. Overall, I liked the place. The only negative I have is the price of a beer. Maybe it's because Im an American and Im used to different prices for a beer, but the beers here did cost a bit more than they do back home. Other than that, Im a fan, and I would definitely go back here, especially on trivia night.

As one can imagine, this brewery was packed. But they welcome the people by having heaps of seating, outside, inside, next to the food truck, and around the corner in a large hall. Finding a place to sit in and get comfy is not that difficult. We were in the mix of it all, it's in a huge warehouse with a really high ceiling. The bar is nice positioned, and staff are quick to pour you there latest brew. The food is by Brodburger. Their burgers are bomb, with a vegetarian one that will rock your socks. If you didn't think it before, burgers have a perfect pairing with, you guessed it, beer. Capital brewing knows exactly what they're doing with their good natured brews attitude.

You can try a full lineup of their German style beers (their "paddle sampler") for 12 dollars and this includes a half pint of your favourite. Some of their beers are available in 5L mini kegs for 40 dollars. Unfortunately I did not try their food, but their desserts looked very good (very large, so either save room or share)

Super cute atmosphere, warm welcome by staff, and amazing daily and happy hour specials. We took advantage of the $5 fries, delicious and well priced bao buns, happy hour beers / house label tap wines and the all-day-every-day $10 on tap espresso martini. Everything was gorgeous. Super efficient, kind, and unpretentious service coupled with a nice crowd, lovely room, comfortable patio, and overall great experience. They seem to have themes and yummy specials for each day of the week so just trying to decide how to best space our visits!
