Cindy and her team at From Wags to Whiskers have been the most professional, reliable pet sitting…read moreservice we've had. For 10 years, Cindy took care of our English Mastiff, Dixie as though she we're her own. Never missing a visit not even with inclement weather-Cindy puts the care of all of her feathered and fur clients first! We've even referred other family members and friends that have also become clients and we all agree there's nothing like knowing your fur kids taken care of. I can not say enough good things about the care we received throughout the years, we are so grateful!

They are 100% dependable and treat our home and pets like their own. We have had three medium to large dogs and one cat for much of the last 2.5 years that we have used them. We rescued our young pit mix just before we moved to this area. She had NO training and was very reactive, with a strong prey drive when we got her, but Cindy and her team were able to manage her during her training. We also adopted our Doberman puppy just after moving here as well, and they were able to accommodate twice daily walks for us initially during her housebreaking, and have been able to handle this rambunctious girl as well. Our senior cat, who has since passed, was a timid girl; but based on the photos Cindy posted, her midday friends quickly gained her trust and affection. We have used them the entire time we have lived in VB, mainly for 3-4 midday dogs walks per week. They have offered the peace of mind and dependability we need, whether we are at work or out of town. We often have last minute schedule changes or unusual requests and they have always been able to accommodate us. In addition, their prices are very affordable, and their communications are always prompt. In regards the negative comments from the previous client- Cindy may be soft spoken and straight forward, but she has never been rude; she is a kind hearted, gentle person who always has her clients and pets needs in mind. Also, as far as their communications and alerts about anything seemingly off about pets- as a pet owner I **greatly** appreciate when our walkers alert us to any potential medical concerns, along with any behavioral issues that pop up. I can tell by the notes they leave in the pet journal that they know each of our pet's normal behaviors and their individual funny quirks. Also, we have never had any concerns about the walkers sticking to the prearranged time window.

My cat had a urinary blockage that very rapidly worsened, so I quickly searched for a pet ER in my…read morearea and found Bay Beach. The care Seamus got there was extraordinary. Expensive? Yes. But well worth it and very well explained from the start. I got updates throughout the process (he was inpatient for ~3 days) that included how he was doing, what the vets were doing in terms of his care, and where the pricing was from the initial quote. Every person I interacted with at Bay Beach was professional and kind. I was able to visit my cat while he was there and never felt rushed with him. They treated him like one of their own and I am sure that part of his positive recovery was because of the care they showed him while I couldn't be there. Definitely would recommend Bay Beach should you be in the unfortunate situation of needing an emergency vet.

Bay Beach Veterinary Emergency Hospital is located in the Courthouse area in Virginia Beach. It's…read morein the same shopping center as the Harris Teeter there. My visits here were on February 4 and 5, 2025. With this hospital being in a shopping center, there was ample parking available. The hospital is fairly easy to find there. In the afternoon on February 4th, Charlie, who is a male maltipoo and only one year old at the time, he was having a seizure of some kind. We first went to Strawbridge Animal Care which is his primary vet location. After a few minutes, they let us know that the on-call vet was out for lunch, and they gave us the info to come to this animal hospital, which would take about 10 minutes to get there. They were notified ahead of time of us coming. Once we got here, I picked up Charlie from my mom and ran to the door to get inside. It was locked so they had to come and unlock the door. They were very quick about getting the door unlocked and when we told them who it was, they were ready and took him back for an immediate evaluation and testing. I had recently started a Trupanion Pet Insurance policy too, and they were able to handle that electronically. I never thought I'd have to use it, but I am glad I got it now. After some time, one of the veterinary techs came out and gave an update. His bloodwork and such were normal and also let us know what medications they were giving him for the seizures. We were there quite a while, and the veterinarian seeing him came out to let us know the seizures are coming under control, but he would need to be held overnight for observation and continued treatment. We came back the following day and things were looking much better. The last time they had to administer a medication for the seizures was around 1 am that morning. Ultimately, they weren't able to identify what would have caused the seizures in the first place, but at least he was back to his normal self. Overall, the staff were very friendly to us and kept us updated the entire time, even by phone in the evening on that first day. It's crazy when you see just how much it costs too, but at least it was covered by the pet insurance except for vet exam fees and such. I would come back here again if an emergency should arise, even though I hope that never happens again.

There was an initial meet and great which was just an opportunity to familiarize our dogs with Fuzzy Butts and vise versa. Jessica was very caring and definitely loves animals. When we left town we scheduled for three visits a day which still was very sad to us since they're normally always with someone so this was tough but a necessity for us as we were leaving town. Jessica showed up on time and sent us photos and updates after each visit. The service was professional and we got what we expected.
