You get the scenic beauty of Styria's mountains, a wonderful trail that will give your quads and glutes a good workout, and then a meal at the very top coupled with a trail down that leads you by scenic mountain meadows full of cattle wearing cowbells and lovely rustic barns. However, the hike to the mountaintop to see the cross was also well worth it. Loved the fact that there were beer gardens in strategic locations where one could stop for a pint and a wurst, but also loved how they were properly integrated to not take away from the natural beauty.
