We decided on this place last minute, but landed on this particular location because of their outstanding Yelp reviews-- very glad we came here! The front desk lady was so nice and we had an absolute blast. We did the Temple room which was so thoughtfully planned out with lots of fun clues. Our family of three completed the temple room with seconds to spare. It was the fourth room we have done (all at different places) and it was our favorite! The puzzles are very cool and our host gave us just the right amount of help. We would love to come back and try another room next time we are in town!! read more

What can I say?!?! This was so much freaking fun!!!! Did this with my family (husband and 3 boys ages 7, 10 and 12). We did the spy themed room and it was so much fun. This was my first time in an escape room experience so we needed lots of clues lolol but we had so much fun! I can't wait to do it again! This place was reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. I would say that my 7yo was a smidge creeped out a little but that was mainly bc his older brothers were teasing him. Great family fun and I would highly recommend. read more

Easily the best Escape room we've ever done! Just moved to the area from Las Vegas where we've done plenty of escape rooms in the past, always had a great time, but this was a whole other level of fun. We did the Lost Temple room and the theme was amazing. Felt like we were in an Indiana Jones movie the whole time. Plus having the whole room to ourselves was perfect. Such a great private experience with a free group photo afterwards! We will definitely be back for more, I'd recommend this place to anyone anytime. read more

We did 'the hatch' which had 2 difficulty options when booking and I chose the lower difficulty but it was still quite tough with only 2 people. Very well done setups with various triggers and doors and electronics unlocking different things so not quickly or lazily done like some others I've visited. read more

Our group had mixed reviews about this escape room. We did the Las Vegas room. It was very first generation (ie heavy on padlocks). I immediately didn't care for it, but my partner didn't mind. Another caveat was the low lighting in the room. It made it impossible for me to see smaller things, like the locks. At one point we were given a free hint by our game master, unfortunately it didn't help us move along. We then asked for an official clue, and were repeated the same hint. The problem was, that was used as one of our 3 official hints. I felt that was a bit unfair, as it was already given to us. Over all, the theming in the room was very nice. Our game master lacked energy and enthusiasm, but it was also late, and I know how I feel when my shift is almost over. I personally dont know if Ill return. But I wish them the best of luck! read more

This was my first time at a an escape room. We booked the last reservation slot for the day. My party was 10 minutes late and I felt horrible keeping the host there even longer. We called and explained that we would be there shortly and Cristina was SO kind and told us not to worry. Cristina was awesome. Kind, welcoming and so helpful. She seemed to really love her job and it showed! I will be back next time I'm in town just because of her hospitality. :) read more

This was our first escape room ever for the 3 of us and it was so much fun! I do not know what took us so long to try this but now I know why so many people do this for fun! I am so glad we chose Escape FLA as our first escape room, as the location was easy to find, our host Christine was super friendly and helpful, and the room was challenging! We did the Lost Temple for our room and it took us some time to get in the swing of how to figure things out but I think we got the hang of it near the end. We did not escape and I asked Christine how much more of the room we had left and we had only made it about 60% of the way! We also used a lot of clues! I felt going in like we shouldn't need them, but we sure did! We will definitely be back and if they were not booked for the rest of the day, I would have done another room that day! Even my 14 year old son enjoyed it and said he would do it again! It was a nice family activity that had us work together to solve clues! I especially loved that the room was private for us- I cannot image being put in a room with people we did not know. That would not be for me. This was perfect! Highly recommend! read more

Our family are minor escape room enthusiasts (probably done it 10-12 times). We're always looking for creative themes and puzzles. We chose The Lost Temple and this one fit the bill! A bunch of fun. Not just number/lock puzzles. Our host Joe was great and got in on the fun. I would say medium to hard difficulty. We made it out but barely. Done many escape rooms over the last couple years and this one is absolutely my favorite. I live in Texas and thats where a majority of mine have been done. While in Florida for the weekend I did four of five different ones. (I may have a problem) Anyways, ended up doing two rooms here, and it was by far the best experience I've had at any one. Once we got back to Texas I signed us up to do a room on the way home (safe to say I have a problem) It was a huge disappointment and I'm sad the bar has been set so high now. Definitely have been to better escape rooms where the room guide is more catered to your need. Any time we asked for a hint it felt like we were troubling them. Having done several escape rooms it was disappointing to see how disengaging the host was and how little they brought to the room. read more

My husband and I went last night along with some family and friends last night to do The Hatch room. We were somewhat slow to start, but once we got into the groove of the room and proceeded with the clues, we had a blast! It felt like we were in the simulated situation while in the room. The owner was very helpful with clues to guide us without giving too much away. It was the best escape room I've been to in the Tampa Bay Area thus far. A huge bonus, you get a "secret beer" as part of the Secret Ale Society for completing your escape room. All around great experience! We will return! read more

Have been to approximately seven or eight different escape rooms both in Florida and Ohio - and this was one of the very best we have ever been to. It's rooms were extremely creative and there were several nuances in terms of some of the reveals that we had never seen before that were a lot of fun. We are fairly experienced in escape rooms - but found these challenging yet not so difficult that we were not able to get out. In fact we enjoyed the first room - operation Blackstone, so much that we came back a half hour later and did the escape from Las Vegas room. The rooms were very well-crafted, they were self contained, Were very clean - the props or creative and well appointed, one of the better escape rooms we have ever been to in our 20+ rooms in 8 or so different businesses read more

We did the Operation Blackstone room and it was hard but not too hard! It was really fun and there were lots of clues to find. This is a great place for families, birthday parties, even work functions! It is family owned and operated and the owner is super nice and helpful! There are options to have hints during the one hour in the room which is great. All in all this is a super great escape room! read more
