The next day I called their office to ask if this included tax & labor. The woman that I spoke with told me they would give me an exact price the day of the removal and I explained to her that I was having carpet installed the following day therefore that would be too late. She said they would get back to me & no one ever did. I took the chance because I did not have enough time to schedule another company. The day they came to remove the furniture, the young man gave me the price. It was almost double the verbal quote. $952.00 to be exact. There were only two young men handling this removal so it took longer than anticipated. I am not an experienced mover but I would have removed the drawers from the dresser & chest before I carried them down two flight of stairs. My walls have two dings in them & also a piece of woodwork on my staircase is now loose. Bottom line, it cost me almost a grand to donate.
