I did an auction in Escondido that was hosted by Kevin. It was super fun. Kevin is was someone who genuinely cared about the seller and the new receiver of the merchandise. Everything was perfect. The auction was easy straightforward to understand the pick up I made my appointment showed up. Everything was there. It's just easy. My second auction was in SD ended with me at the corporate headquarters in front of "The Green Door" The staff was super fast and organized. Just their sheer level of organization is impressive. I would not hesitate to attend other auctions I also interacted with the person that does their website again just top-notch person.. So lesson learned they are legit they are very accessible they are not overpriced to the buyer or the seller I think they're reasonable and they work with quality people and items. At least in my experience, if you have a question about an item or something is not clear, you can reach out to them and they will answer your questions. The clothes are all mixed together and not separated by size, color or gender. Though, if you ask one of the associates, they'll point you to the best place to find what youre looking for. You'll still have to do some digging/searching, however. To my surprise, many of the items were actually in great condition and not damaged, faded or pilled. Some still had original tags on them. The store and clothes weren't smelly, which was a huge plus. They also have two bathrooms available, which appear to be clean. I purchased 6 T-shirts, a pair of sunglasses, a pair of shorts, and a Sunday Afternoons hat for just $11.40. I then went back and got a furniture item because it was priced really well. It's a better deal than regular thrift stores if you can take time out of your day to sift through all the items.

He sold a small fraction of the dolls in Spring of 2021. He and his mother had COVID so I was easy on him As far as waiting for payment. His mother was a strong force in the company. I hear she was much loved. She passed away while in the hospital with COVID. I had a list of sold and unsold items. He sold $20,000 worth of dolls. However, he didn't pay. I checked out his bond and it had expired Just a few months after I signed the contract. He didn't have a bond with anyone. i had to bug him constantly. Finally he started making payments but they were quite far apart. Over A few years, the total I received was $5,000. I asked him frequently for the unsold items. It wasn't until May of 2025 did he arrange for my niece to pick them up. She picked up 22 unmarked boxes all the same size. After opening all of them up, not one item was ours. He had his helpers box dolls and toys from his warehouse. I now have 22 boxes of toys and cheap dolls that are likely a hodgepodge of several owners. I don't know where our dolls are. They were beautiful dolls. Clarke Dailey told the owner of EstateSales.com, Michael Judkins whose website Clarke uses to auction off property, that he paid us yet he admitted to giving us the junk from his warehouse. Michael seems to be supportive of him but I don't think Clarke deserves to use his reputable website. Clarke indicated too that the statute of limitations was over. I don't think so since we are not just starting a complaint after several years of silence. Where are all those dolls and household items? Did he sell them and pocket the money or is he just a terribly disorganized person. Either way, do not do business with him.

We've been patiently trying to work with Clarke for months, numerous phone calls, messages and emails. He continues to tell us the check is in the mail, but no payment. Clarke Dailey has 4 recent BBB Complaints against his new business Minick and Dailey Holdings just since 2021, and an F rating with the BBB.
