Watch this auction site. This is a shady guy Craig. He received all my consignment items back in June 8,2025. It was on the auction on July 20,2025. I'm am still waiting for payment since then it is now Sept 11.2025. I have emailed Craig personally 8 times. I keep getting oh the check is in the mail. Also beware he does steal things. I had rock oyster pearls he said we're fake so I told to send back. I am still waiting as he has said he will have e to check. Please people beware of this scammer. read more

I bid on a stamp collection and won the auction, it was about $8 and requested it be sent via US mail and did not require insurance since it was a low value. NCauctions then charged me $25 to send it UPS. I cannot reccommend doing business with them. read more

********************BEWARE******************** Craig Casey (North County Auctions) is not trustworthy. I bought two pink sapphires and scheduled an in person appointment to pick up my items. The following day I received text from Craig Casey asking if I wanted to pickup or ship my items? Why the text if I already scheduled a pickup? Strange. We spoke on the phone and he assured me the shipping cost would be nominal. I agreed to ship. What a mistake. Two days later, having not received a shipping invoice or tracking number, I called him. That was February 2. February 14 and still no package, no emailed shipping invoice with tracking number, nothing. I called and was told that my package was in his trunk and out for drop off in the morning. February 15 I received a text saying my items have been shipped and provided a tracking number. February 17 my package was delivered. It was clean, no damage and unopened. It was also empty. I tried calling the North County Auctions office number at 5:01pm. My call went to a recorded message. I hung up and immediately received a text from Craig telling me he sent the package. Hmmmmm? I informed him that the package arrived empty and there was no sign of damage. Just an empty envelope. I sent him a picture. His reply was, he would check with shipping. Though earlier he had admitted to shipping the item himself via text. Ok? I told him I would send a reminder the following Tuesday if I hadn't heard from him. He replied, he would file a claim. On what? An unopened, clean, un damaged empty envelope? That leads us to today. February 24 I contacted Craig via text to ask if he had located the missing gems and how he wanted to resolve the matter if they were still missing. After several texts and a phone call (where Craig refers to his son as, "Nate my shipper" as to suggest that his shipper is some unrelated employee) Craig's final decision was, that Nate said he remembers putting the gems inside the envelope, so he has no resolution. Craig expects me to pay for items he never shipped. He sat on my items for almost two weeks until prompted via phone. Then he sends me an empty envelope, and his rationale is, he has no liability because his son remembers putting the stones into the envelope that was empty upon delivery. How did the gems get out? Where did they go? If this story sounds familiar to any of you, please contact me. One thing I can promise all of you. If Craig Casey replies to this review, there will be no accountability. No refund of my money. His tactic is to bully, so he will blame me for agreeing to terms stating he is not responsible for items lost, missing, stolen or damaged in shipping. And that's my point precisely. They weren't lost missing, stolen or damaged during shipping because they were never shipped. That clause does not apply. You're liable. Who thinks it's dishonest to send an empty envelope and try and divert accountability for missing items? read more

Unprofessional auction company. we had problems with items not being ready for pickup after purchase, some were broken (real condition was hidden in auction photos). We stopped buying from them completely when they started costuming women and posing them as scantily dressed trailer park bimbos - completely unrelated to the items being auctioned. It is pathetic, tacky, and unnecessary. We have daughters we hope will be valued for their brains and personality, not how they look in an undersized, cheap sailor costume from F Street clearance. There is more than one female they dress up and pose ridiculously. They claim one is a lawyer, LOL. Probably a brain surgeon in her spare time. No gainfully employed lawyer with self respect would allow themselves to be used gratuitously. Anyone on partner track at a decent law firm doesn't have time for foolishness and objectification - IYKYK. Grow up and focus on accurate auction listings and being professionals. Advertising with women is NOT the problem - using them they way you are is. At minimum list auction items honestly and clearly. read more

I really got taken advantage of at this place. I spent Over $2000 buying some stuff 4 resale... Most of the stuff wasn't as listed, Halloween costumes....there were only 5 of them, the rest of the stuff in the large box was sports stuff, pretty useless. I got a Lego Vintage Robot, when I got it home & counted all the parts, (over 550 little parts) I realized many were missing. I can't sell something with missing parts. The pennies he sold me - I found they were worth 10% of what I paid. This auction venue was new to me & I was never told to come by & view the stuff 1st. Casey said he would take back & sell 4 me. After paying over $2000, he sold for $400 but of course he got his 50% cut again, so my great income will be $200 for my stuff I paid thousands for... Be warned. read more

It has been a year since we moved and all I can is Casey is a crook! He promised to sell my forklift and other stuff for a certain amount and I should not believed him! Dont bother going here to buy anything! THey will lie to you and tell you that your stupid! Make sure on your invoice that all the items are individually listed or dont expect to get them! This guy Casey is a rude crook who has a history of doing this type of behavior. Also, he manually entered charges onto my credit card without telling me or asking me. As well as not having the authority to charge me for things that he accused me of taking that didnt belong to me. also, this guy thinks its okay to include empty boxes in the auction photos, so that when you purchase the lot , he can remove them and tell you that it was only trash and for display purposes. If I could give negative stars I would. I'm a licensed auctioneer. This company either knows nothing about auctions or is just inept. I brought my goods to North County Auctions in November. Two months later they were unable to even locate what happened to my goods. I brought new and nearly new items to be sold, I assumed, with individual listings. They didn't even catalogue what items were given. They have a fiduciary responsibility to "try" to get as much for the customer "me" as possible. I never dreamed they would sell all my goods in "one lot." That is far, far from trying to maximize the revenue to me, their client. Everything in this post is detailed in emails with the company in the correspondence in "searching" for what they were responsible for. In defending their incompetence, or nonfeasance, they say the goods were junk. That's up to the bidder to decide. I have never told one of my clients that his possessions were junk! One man's trash is another's treasure. That "trash" included a "new" grout cleaner/steamer, new public address system, professional Polaroid and Kodak cameras to name a few. Terrible service, incompetent, unprofessional. read more

Buyer beware! They provided the worst buying experience I have ever had. Stamps were misrepresented as genuine, though the enclosure for the stamps had a tag on the reverse that said "copy" once it was received. Even worse, the supposed "stamps" were cut from a stamp catalog. The fact that there is no option for a refund is terrible. There is so much worry about customers screwing them, that they screw the customer. I will not buy from them again and would be afraid of receiving a picture instead of the item for on-line auctions. read more

I accidentally bid on the item below the item I really wanted to bid on. Even on a Sunday night at 8pm, I was able to get ahold of some help through NCauctions. They were very helpful and when I called back Monday, they were able to further assist with a refund of the wrong item I won.
