We did not have a good experience on a high end job. They crew damaged a bunch of sprinkler heads, forgot to cut certain tree branches, didn't do all the work as previously agreed and had difficulty in communicating when they would show up, among a number of other issues. read more

They were easy to contact, promptly showed up for the appointment to give us a quote, sent us the written quote in a couple days and showed up on schedule to remove our large, 70 year old mango tree. They were courteous, did a GREAT job and cleaned up after themselves. The job took longer than expected (1.5 days instead of 1 day) but they stuck to their quoted price! We had a tangerine tree in our backyard (aka the BEAST) that was neglected, infested with creepy crawlies, and most likely diseased. I contacted several companies who quoted me cheaper prices but was impressed with Alejandro's responsiveness and knowledge. Once I gave the go ahead, his team was there within an hour. In addition to cutting the BEAST down, they cut down a smaller orange tree that was being eaten by borer beetles and a dead stump next to it. Not only did they do an outstanding job taking the BEAST down, they cleaned everything up and hauled away the green waste as well as the bricks, gravel, and miscellaneous debris that had been accumulated over the years and leveled the area to match the existing yard. We had 2 very over grown macadamia nut trees, situated on a downslope below our house but rising above our 2nd story roof. Alejandro and 2 crew members spent most of the day pruning and shaping the trees, cutting away dead branches, and removing Monstera growing up the trunks. They left enough leaves and flowers to maintain the beauty of the trees and to attract birds. Alejandro did the branch cutting (too scary for us to watch tho he kept himself tethered to the tree), and one of his crew spotted his work from the ground to help with the shaping. They hauled away all of the branches they cut and cleaned up the leaves that cluttered the garage afterwards. They did exactly what I hired them to do and checked with me a couple of times early on to make sure they were maintaining the height I wanted. There were dead branches and dead leaves left behind but I had not asked them to clean up the rubbish that had accumulated over the years. (I received bids from other tree services that included doing this but I was trying to keep down my costs, and I enjoy doing that kind of yard work.) I would definitely hire them again. read more

Had 4 responses for visit to estimate the project. Espitia's came out and gave me a quote that same afternoon. We agreed then and there to the quote. He and his crew arrived on time at the end of the week as agreed. Thinning of tallest Areca palms in hedge with attention to not damaging other plants, fence, electrical wire and cars at the curb. After receiving an exorbitant estimate from another tree service, I contacted Espitia's. Alejandro, the manager, replied promptly; visited my mom's home so I could show him what we needed: cut down a money tree and remove the stump; rescue/prune an Ironwood pine (Bonsai) and a milkwood; clear out a mass of foliage on the side of the house. I was in great need of help for my mango trees due to their condition on how the leaves looked, it was not great. I requested an estimate and they were able to quickly respond to me and help out my trees. I was able to get a good price for trimming some of my fruit trees and pruning my trees.
