Ever since discovering Pisco Sour a few weeks ago, this little cafe has quickly become our favorite lunch spot in the Inner West. Literally everything we have tried has not only been good, but impressively so. (And we've been back about 2x every week!) I'm absolutely in love with the torrija -- a type of french toast. Leanda blends the perfect about of sweetness with the heat of the cinnamon, tartness of mildly dressed strawberries, and creamy ricotta cheese. Even though I try to order something different every time, I find myself always coming back to the torrija! My fiance has had the Atlantic salmon three times and without fail it is perfectly done: crispy on the outside, a little soft on the inside and with just the right amount of seasoning. Divine. Recently, he also tried the pulled pork daily special and it was, without a doubt, one of the best things we've had here. The grilled chicken quinoa salad isn't as decadently succulent as the other things we've had, but a great option for a light, pre-gym lunch or when you're calorie counting. The icing on the cake is that the prices are incredibly reasonable, especially for the quality of food. Very friendly, bright-haired staff and as always quality coffee.

The cafe has a cute modern cottage feel with some footpath seating, a front area with a long shared bench and some smaller tables followed by a rear area that has more seating and some toys etc for kids. It is very pleasant overall but it can get a little noisy, especially if full (more so with many little ones present). The food is of very good quality and reasonably priced. Good value for money and tasty. The service is great and usually very quick, even with a long queue of folks ordering takeaway coffee - which is consistently good. Free wifi is an added bonus and I have had a few days where I escaped the home office to do a little work here. If you feel like trying something a little of the high street in Balmain Charlotte is worth definitely a visit.

This is an Eastern European inspired/infused cafe. Meaning that the food here is great. If you don't know what Eastern European food is like, trust me, it is meaty goodness. But don't go past the huevos rancheros, seriously worth the try. The coffee here is good, not great, but good. But this is not the reason that you come - you come here for the food. I've had breakfast here a couple of times as well, and they poach their eggs perfectly, which makes them a five star joint every time. Recently we had a house warming and ordered a platter of brownies. They were so good everyone raved about them - the simplest things, but so memorable people are asking me for the recipe! Cheeky me, I write down the name of the cafe :-) The people here are friendly and chilled out, and they make a perfect cuppa.
