Very nice atmosphere for a morning coffee. Lots of lovely plants, hidden garden in the back filled with plants. Very nice staff. The aesthetic of the place is calming and trendy, while staying true to a modern european cafe. The coffee was great. I had an americano black and was velvety and smooth

Trendy coffee shop like all trendy coffee shops in the world. You will feel at home here if it's your kind of thing. We certainly did. Very friendly staff spoke English well. Simple menu. We had salmon, avo on toast with pickled red onions. Everything was super fresh. The bread very tasty. The cortado was fantastic. Highly recommend. Oh, and they are so trendy they don't have WiFi.

I'm so happy my boyfriend and I found the place. Talk about allll the og coffee feels. This place is so cute with old brick, vintage touches, and modern decor. The staff was amazing and very friendly. We only speak English and they were fluent as well. The WiFi works amazing and they play some really good jams. If you're in Porto, you really need to come here. The coffee is above all others! We have two more days here and you can bet yourself we'll be back here a few more times!!

This place was convenient to us as it was close to our stay in Porto. I would say their coffee is definitely above average. Service is quick, prices are reasonable, decor is nice.

In Portugal where espresso dominates, it was such a nice surprise to find a place with pour overs! The staff was fantastic, answered any questions we had and were very kind about our minimal Portuguese. The cafe has TONS of space inside and an outdoor garden area with plenty of seating as well. Absolutely will be back again if I find myself in the neighborhood. :)

Great decor, great seating arrangement. Beautiful garden seating at the back. Feels like the modern coffee shops in NY or LA. Coffee is pretty good but not great. Cappuccino has only one shot of espresso. To get two shots, order the flat white.

Wow this place is so freshly modern but with the old world all around it. Fábrica Coffee Roasters has amazing breakfast and perfect coffee. Whether you want a fantastic breakfast experience or just want to hangout all day and work. This place is a must if you're in Porto.

Beautiful space, lots of light, high ceilings, lots of wood and plants, with multiple sitting areas (inside in the main part of the shop, in the back under a huge skylight in an indoor patio like area, and outdoor patio/garden in the back). Free wifi is always a plus. The coffee and food was delicious. The homemade yogurt with granola was amazing, and the pasteis de nata so scrumptious. Service was very friendly and welcoming. Loved it.

So I didn't try any of their *food* food, which seems to be a focus, but they're definitely providing a great service to anyone in the area who needs some quality morning coffee. 4 euro for an oat milk latte is a pretty great price, and it was a great latte. Since I was there and saw that they also sold pastries, I also got a filled croissant for 3 euro, which made a great breakfast - the croissant itself, honestly, was just good, but the cream filling was fantastic. p.s. if you're just here for a to-go coffee like I was - there's signage around, or at least was when I was there, that makes it seem like they only have table service, so I awkwardly saw at a table until they told me I could absolutely also order at the counter, especially if I was ordering to-go.

Start your day here. Food: My girlfriend worked through the benedicts, all solid. I stuck with the eggs and eggplant dish, which sounds odd but works and doesn't weigh you down for a day of walking and wine. Drinks: Excellent across the board. We're coming from Seattle with a former barista in the mix, and this didn't miss. Service: Consistently great. Smooth, attentive, no friction. Vibe: Worth showing up for on its own. We watched people stop, look in, and take photos. It has that pull. What could be better: Not much. It gets busy, and for good reason.

Fortunately after checking in it further, she was able to give me a table in the back. It took awhile for someone to take my order, and when I ordered a flat white, they informed me the machine was broken, and they only had filtered coffee. Certainly a disappointed but, hey, stuff happens. I figured I'd just get a coffee elsewhere afterwards. I ordered the Wild Eggs, and the dish came out at a reasonable pace. It was tasty, but not the best I've had in Porto so far -- the bread was stale, so the crust was so crunchy and tough that it was hard to chew. It was a good sized portion, though, so I had leftovers to take away. However, no one came back to check on me or to see if I needed the check. The servers seemed busy with other tables, and I can understand, it's a busy, popular restaurant. But I got the sense I was an annoyance, and they couldn't be bothered with me. Which I also get, because tourists aren't super welcomed by locals in Portugal. Though I've felt much more welcomed in other establishments during my stay, so it wasn't very comfortable for me here. The location, atmosphere and food is what kept this from being 2 stars, but given that the prices are on the higher end, it wouldn't be my first choice of places to revisit.

Jamie W and I had read about it on a travel vlog and recognized the need to bookmark it for our trip to Porto. Sure enough, we had a less than memorable meal at Honest Greens on the pedestrian-only Rua Santa Catarina. It was just a few doors down and conspicuous by its atmospheric detail. Carved dark wood, ornate ceilings, polished brass, marble tables, the whole nine yards. We almost felt underdressed until we noticed other tourists in far tackier leisurewear. We only had room for dessert which was just as well since they had a robust selection to choose from. Surprisingly it was nearly empty when we entered. Jamie ordered the 10€ Cheesecake with Red Fruits. It was a nice, creamy slice ladled with a compote-like coulis of blueberries and red currants (Photo 9). It was accompanied by a glass of Porto Quinta do Noval LBV, a scintillating port that fed into his new addiction (Photo 7). I decided to try their signature 10€ French Toast Majestic Style made distinctive by its decadent egg-custard cream sauce. The flavorful bread slice sat in a shallow pool of maple syrup and sprinkled with pine nuts, walnuts, and raisins (Photo 10). Instead of a port pairing, I ordered the 7€ Cafe au Lait which balanced well with the French toast (Photo 8). I really think the Belle Epoque decor complemented our digestion because this was the gathering spot for Porto's elite. For a few moments, we were part of it.
