Despite the wounds being several days old, they were able to clean and stitch the wounds and his ear looks great! They also offered same day neutering for him since he was already being sedated, which I gladly accepted!! They were so kind and thoroughly explained everything. Kept in contact with me throughout the day to keep me up to date on his progress! I now have a new regular vet clinic!! The staff were all wonderful!

My dog was having some kind of toxic neurological reaction to the anti-tick oil that I put on his…read moreback while I was on vacation in the local area.  This vet wouldn't schedule any appointment unless I were willing to pay an "urgent care" premium of $170 in addition to the exam fee and any medicine.  And the "urgent care" appointment was 2 weeks out. I called my vet in the twin cities (Broadway Robbinsdale Animal Hospital, which I cannot recommend highly enough) and they encouraged me not to wait two weeks for an urgent situation and to get him looked at as quickly as possible and if I were willing to drive to the cities they would schedule an immediate appointment. Broadway also recommended BluePearl Pet Hospital in Duluth, a walk-in after-hours emergency vet, should his condition deteriorate overnight.   I'm not big on opportunistic price gouging. If they treat humans this way, how will they treat your pet?

Eventually, due to the level of my injuries I was transported to their new Duluth hospital (WOW) and was met with equally fine care for the 9 days spent there. In both places they were most comforting and efficient. I must also reach out to the Virginia team members (you know who you are) that had learned of my being in their Virginia facility and took time from their schedules to visit and comfort me . By New Year's Day I was in so much pain I went to the Emergency Department. They gave me two pain tablets while I was there. Then I was given a bottle of numbing drops and told to use them sparingly. Since they couldn't write me for pain medication. Luckily Eye North texted me on the third. When they found out what I was using they both came into the office to meet me. These drops caused coronial erosion. They put a very expensive placenta cover on my eye hoping to rebuild the coronial. When that didn't work, they referred me to a specialist and I just got the eye patch off last week. If they hadn't checked in on me I probably would have lost the sight in one eye

I had forgotten to update this review prior, here it is now…read more My experience here went from a 5 start to a 1, and 1 is too high. They ruptured my dogs ear drum when cleaning her ears and it was a nightmare getting it dealt with. Apologetic at the time of service, offering to help her heal through the process and full admitting of the mistake. During the process, kept charging me for visits and medication and I asked why, they did the damage so why am I paying? Thje push back started. They started saying they didn't do it, they said they partially did it, they said it was my fault, they were gaslighting like crazy. I had to say ENOUGH and push back real hard, threaten to sue. They provided the meds and checkups but at this point, I was done and started seeing another vet. The dog has always had issues with her ears from then on, this situation really makes me angry.,
