For the remaining 4 she set me up with partial dentures as well. But how she was able to completely transform all but 4 of the teeth Id been told by prior dentists were irreparable, is something between a miracle of sorts and pure serendipitous good fortune, for a change. The aching, breaking, stained teeth and unsightly mouth I owned just a month or two ago is now shiny white and almost new and the change was quick and incredible. I literally have been agoraphobic and mostly unable to work due to a combination of pain and shame concerning my teeth, and Dr. Specht and her hygienist have reinvigorated my confidence and my smile and my future will be brighter for the amazing work they've done for me. They always knew best and my opinion about things always seemed to be an irritant to them, even though they'd asked for it. In and out, as quickly as possible. Very little care about the quality of their work or the pain it caused me in the process. But this place? Is entirely different. My dentist is Leanna McBride, and I can honestly say that she is not only an amazing dentist, she is an amazing person. She is so kind and considerate. So polite and genuine. When she asks for my thoughts, she actually cares about hearing my answer. She is quick witted with her banter with her hygienists, which adds alot to the morale of the entire situation. I can imagine she is a fun person to work with and I count myself lucky that I ended up with her. Being fully transparent? I cannot imagine a situation with this crew that would cause me to give them anything but a 5 star review. We found this clinic via a Google search and though we saw the doctor's name appear on other locations like Deer River where he does surgeries, but we learned that the clinic in Coleraine is his headquarters and that he does do surgeries at a couple of hospitals in the region. We were relieved to hear that his clinic is "walk-in" and the wait is usually short. Here's why Dr. Baich and his clinic are so great: 1. Dr. Baich is an experienced doctor & surgeon. 2. Dr. Baich is the first doctor I've ever been in a room with where the doctor isn't rushing off to another patient, but connects with each of his patients to make sure they have all the answers they need. 3. No wait for scheduling- Because it's a walk-in clinic and the wait is usually very short. This means on days when need to see a doctor, you can be sure to get in to see Dr. Baich at the clinic on his non-surgery days. (I understand he has two surgery days each week which he splits between a couple of regional hospitals.) 4. Customer service - The clinic staff are great. 5. Accessible- The clinic is a few minutes from Grand Rapids and right off the free way. 6. Affordable- a consult, resulting minor surgery, and follow-up combined cost us less than a 15-min. doctor's visit at other clinics. This is important for cash paying or high-deductible insurance policy holders!! In an era where the healthcare industry is growing larger and larger (and more costly), this is one clinic where you won't get lost in it all.
