After taking a Jeep tour to Greenie Peak and having lunch, we decided to check this place out. We had been the day prior, but they were busy. So, we came back the following day. This was my first time trying O2. There were 6 oils to choose from, I went with peppermint. At $1 a minute, $10 seemed reasonable. I felt great after my session. The caretaker running the joint was very friendly too. The shop had several items for sale. My wife and I purchased a beer themed tea towel and a couple of metal straws. I found this gem with my husband and parents while vacationing earlier this year. I've been to other oxygen bars before, but this one was very cool. The experience was great and reasonably priced. And the owner was great! Very talkative, personable and friendly. You can tell she likes meeting new people and is great at making you feel at home. Besides the oxygen, you can buy DoTerra essential oils, sage, incense and various house wares such as tea towels and candles. Very cute shop. Side note: Why are all the positive reviews for this place 'not recommended,' while the one negative review (from someone who clearly didn't get her humor) is? I was very hurt with my experience at the oxygen bar. I have never been to anything like it and was looking forward to check it out since before my weekend trip to Red River. Immediately when my family and I walked in I asked how does the experience works and got a sarcastic remark on how I should just "pick things out" and "give (her) my money." As if I was incompetent. I didn't realize I was walking into a store and wanted to leave immediately. Red River is a tourist attraction and I feel like this was the worst part of my trip and I should not have been replied to with such disrespect. read more

Visiting the oxygen bar was a total life saver for us on our last trip to Red River. You never understand how the attitude will effect you until you feel like The four of us traveling together were on the struggle bus... tired, dizzy, nauseas, headaches, etc. We went to Essential O2 Lounge the second to last day of our trip & our only regret was not going sooner. For $15, you get your own oxygen tube & 10 minutes of pure oxygen enhanced with a scent of your choice between lavender, lemongrass, eucalyptus, peppermint, cedar wood or grapefruit. The shop owner Sarah is humorous, accommodating & has spent a lot of time in Red River so can tell you about the town, altitude sickness & oxygen therapy during your session.
