When I showed him my key he said it would be the £4.40 so I was quite chuffed. My little boy had come with me to the shop and was so eager to see the key being cut, but before I could lift him to look it was already done, he was gutted! Well I suppose it was fast which is always good. I couldn't help but feel it was £4.40 for all of 30 seconds, but the job was done well and the key works, so I can't really complain.

Last Christmas eve I sent my son in…read morehere to have my boots heeled (metal tips put on the heels) He went in asked for them to be heeled and they told him that they was busy and to come back in an hour. When he went back they charged him £12-99 (hells bells) he came home with the receipt and my change £7-01 ekkkkkkkkk. They had replaced the heels totally with new heels which were too small for my leather boots so the toe bit stuck up and I looked like a pixie. I called them after Christmas and they said there was nothing they could do they shown them to my son and he said they was ok when he went back to pick them up. There is not many 17 year old lads who would know what a pair of boots should look like. Moral of this story don't take your shoes here to be heeled. If you do stay and watch them do the deed.

As well as shoe repairs, they also offer dry cleaning services and key cutting at competitive prices. The key cutting is done while you wait, and shoe repairs are done quickly. There is also a limited number of items for sale, such as dog collar tags, slippers, and key fobs to name a few things. There are a few parking spaces outside Cobb Lees, but there is more parking around the corner.

Len is a craftsman, after 60 years in the trade, he ought to be. You can trust your shoes to him and he will repair them perfectly. Heels cost about £6 - all depending. The first time you discover him, you will end up rummaging through those shoes, hunting out those old favourites and letting him breathe new life into them.
