It's been 37 years since the Guadix train station was featured in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (filmed in 1988 between May and September), but it looks largely identical to its appearance in the movie. The station is operational with a parking lot in front. In my video showing a 360-degree view around the parking lot, you can see the station, the Gorafe Desert, the cave homes of Guadix, and Sierra Nevada's snow-capped peaks. It is just incredible to see so many wonders from a common train station parking lot. But it's no wonder Spielberg's location scout chose such a spot for the famous adventure movie. This is definitely a worthwhile stop for movie lovers, but also to just take in the fabulous panorama. read more
