Estación Granada is a convenient train station that made our travel easy. It features a small dining area that offers a variety of options. The nearby rental car drop-off area is convenient for leaving the rental, making it easy to walk into the station and drop off the keys in the provided mailboxes. Have your ticket ready after the security check, as there will be staff outside verifying passes. Oh and you may want to have some sort of fan or cooling towel because the train itself on the way back to Madrid did not have AC! Thank God I had my portable fan with me. read more

It's a small Train Station. Doors open 30 mins prior to your train's departure. Security is funny as a women you don't get wander due to a male security guard but your luggage has to go through the scanner. Funny to me as I fly I lot for work that security is laxed here for females vs. males. read more

Location: About ten minutes (on foot) from the centre. The place: Well. First of all, I didn't see any signs indicating where this place was located, much less signs that it even existed. I had to ask someone to help me find it. Secondly, this has to be the smallest train station in the world. It's basically one small room, a little different dingy, no info desk. Now, let me give my fellow Seville travellers a heads up: when you buy that train ticket online? Read the fine print because your journey involves a 90-minute bus ride to Antequerra, THEN a 90-minute train ride to Seville. SURPRISE! Service: Nada. this is the one and only train station in the small town of granada in espana. we arrived on an overnight trenhotel from barcelona and it was still dark when we arrived, so we could not see much. since there is only one track that is actively in use, as soon as the passengers disembark, the train needs to quickly move in order to allow the next incoming train to arrive. inside the train station, there is a small cafe with counter service, a few rows of chairs for waiting passengers, a ticket office, and a customer service center. there are restrooms here as well, but they were a bit of a walk from the main station, to the side and back of the building, it appeared, so i actually never made it that far. i just ended up using the toilets on the train when i left granada the next day. since this is a smaller city, do not expect the staff to speak english. my short conversations with the ticket agent and customer service representative were difficult since i did not speak spanish, but we were able to come to an understanding using hand gestures and written notes. read more
