In the back of the building are rows of very old theater chairs facing towards what looks to be a judges stand. The items for sale are usually in soda flats or fruit boxes. The boxes are stacked on or below tables that are attached to rolling platforms. Large items like bikes or washing machines are stored in an area to the right of the stage. One by one a table is rolled to the front and the auctioneers helpers try their best to identify the item. There is no way for me to type what this place sounds like. The auctioneer is yelling gibberish numbers and multiple helpers yell "YEP" when someone raises their hand. It is a family run business and has not changed much in the many years they have operated. The father was the best auctioneer but since around 1996 his son has taken over. You could find literally anything for sale at this place. Make sure to register ahead of time because you cant buy without a buyers number!

The mixture is ever changing so you never know for sure what you might find. From Coin collections to Whale Baleen you can find it all. My father is a big tools collector and always seems to find a tool he can't live without and my girlfriend found some mahogany furniture that was off the charts beautiful...My bread maker and Oster mixer were also purchased here... My husband found a beautiful set of cabinets for our guest apartment and there always seems to be a few big items outside. So if you happen to be in the neighborhood on a Friday night stop on in and check it out. Treasures await and you will certainly have a chance to see some stuff...There are some restaurants in town too so come check in for your Auction ( bidding) number, go dine then attend what the locals call - "a-regular deal" it starts @ 6:30 PM every Friday night. They helped sort collections, and even tested some items in online sales to see if there was demand. Their experience with everything from antiques and collectibles to furniture to everyday household items was impressive. They helped group similar items together to create themed auctions, and then identified other items for an on-site sale. When I looked through the auction listings, I didn't recognize some of the items because of how fantastic the photos and lighting were. They handled the pickup, photography, selling, shipping, and the accounting for the sales. Without their compassion, dedication, and tenacity, I would still be sorting through everything. I can't recommend Colorful Colorado Estate Sales enough. The will the only estate sales company I will ever use.

Now they are saying if I win the bid they will keep my money AND the items. This is despite the fact that you explicitly agree to a pickup date and time when you bid and if you can't make it, then the seller still charges you. That is very fair, BUT when the seller changes the pickup date and time to one you can't make, that agreement is invalid. If they'd either arranged a pickup time that worked or promised a full refund in the event I'm not outbid, I'd be satisfied, but they just changed the sale without warning then essentially said "tough luck" even though luck has nothing to do with it, just shady business practices.

They sell different types of livestock (and different age groups of cows) just about every day of the week. It is kind of fun to see the auction arena but it is often times a very very lengthy process to wait until your cows go through and answer any questions that potential buyers may have. They also have a nice little restaurant on the side of the building. More just a cafe that sticks to the basics but they got tasty cheeseburgers and french fries for sure. The whole place gets a bit dusty though so best stock up on your allergy medicine because you won't get away from the dust no matter where you go unless you go outside. They also got some pretty nifty catwalks to go up so you can peer down at the passel of cows that are about to be sold.
