It is also unfair to owners of the items for sale, as it limits the customers ability to purchase items, resulting in the loss of many potential sales.

Estate Sales can be very overwhelming and stressful to run and the customers can be difficult to deal with but the staff never looses its cool, to say they are patient is an understatement! In addition they are very respectful of the homes they hold the sales in. I've been to over 100 sales they have held. The house is always imaculate and organized during and after the sale. It looks like it's ready for a realtor to show. The owner never sits still, shes always working, running around helping people. They are also never pushy about a sale. They are has kind to someone spending 1 dollar has they are to someone spending 800. They also give amazing deals when you buy multiple items. The more you buy the cheaper it gets. As it was the last week of the month we not only had to bury her,but at the same time empty her apartment at Bella Terra. It was and still is an emotional time for me and my family. Luckily my sister remembered the guy who bought my parents Cadillac years ago. She had seen him once again as he was in Estate Sales now and cleaned out a next door neighbor's house that her husband had passed as they were moving. Bottom line it takes a special kind of person to do this as well as deal with emotional families at the same time ours included. Now Adam is in high demand luckily he remembered my parents and came over to meet with me and my sister. He quoted us a fair price considering our deadlines and amount of work that needed to get done. Our family initially went through the place obviously highly stressful and tiring. We removed items that were meaningful to us like her journals, photos, articles of clothing and some meaningful mementos. He and his team removed the rest. Also since this isn't his first rodeo as they say, he cleaned throughly and vacuumed for our walk through last Friday May 31st. My sister will definitely be calling him as she plans to down size in the very near future. Would highly recommend Adam and his Team, there is many companies we found like this but he took care of it in a way that would make our parents happy.

They have allowed me to meet them at places after the sales ended, when I realized there was more I wanted to buy, - coordinating with me when they were going to be back there. Hence, we hired Estate Sales by June and Diane (www.juneanddiane.com) to accomplish the sale as expediently as possible and we made a terrible error in so doing! They really talked a good game (can you say "over-promise and under-deliver?); been in business forever and had a huge following. While those things may or may not be true, our experience was a HUGE fail! Who sells a mahogany desk for $25 and then prices ordinary glass vases at $15 each? Who breaks up sets? - the master bedroom antique mahogany set was 7 pieces but they sold both mirrors and a vanity, then separately sold the nightstand and left behind a dresser and chest. Who sells two end tables, leaving the matching coffee table behind? or sells half a sun room set? They're a pathetic excuse for a well-run business, running up $186 in newspaper ads (who reads newspapers anymore?) and taking 25% of the measily profits, all the while giving excuses (the stuff wasn't good, people just didn't want to buy etc) and providing very little real information about what things actually sold for. I was able to sell off the remaining furniture in 3 days for more than 4x what they made and I did it without spending a dime! Please, learn from our mistake and do yourselves a favor if you are even considering hiring these people to do a sale, do it yourselves instead or, at the very least, keep looking for a competent group!
