Upon seeing the second set of signs with arrows I literally pulled over, backed up, and followed the signs. I walked onto the property and saw the Welcome sign giving info on whose estate this was. I was then warmly greeted by Jess, Erik, and Ellie. They guided me through what was part of the estate sale and what areas to look in, the story continued with the owner so well I thought they were part of the family. The also represented the personal items well, had good information and responses to all questions, and most importantly for estate sales we reasonably priced! That's huge to hit all those points! I have been to well over 100 estate sales and this felt different in a good way. Nothing pushy, very friendly but gave space to explore. Then I met Linda and she just had great energy and even though I showed up late she gave me grace and went out of her way to accommodate me and that felt great. I must say, they represented the belongings so well I truly thought this was the family doing the estate sale themselves. Turns out it's Golden Girls Estate Sales. They are a great team! We felt they were the best option for trying to sell all the different items we had. Lois was very prompt and responsive. She and her team stuck to the schedule they gave us. They did tremendous work organizing and staging the house, and putting lots of photos up on estatesales.net to advertise our sale (and returned to us a box of rolled coins we had missed in our own clean-out of the house!) They sold a respectable amount of what we needed to get rid of, and we are now talking to a clean-out person Lois recommended to empty the rest of the house (through donations before throwing things away, which we prefer). As it was the last week of the month we not only had to bury her,but at the same time empty her apartment at Bella Terra. It was and still is an emotional time for me and my family. Luckily my sister remembered the guy who bought my parents Cadillac years ago. She had seen him once again as he was in Estate Sales now and cleaned out a next door neighbor's house that her husband had passed as they were moving. Bottom line it takes a special kind of person to do this as well as deal with emotional families at the same time ours included. Now Adam is in high demand luckily he remembered my parents and came over to meet with me and my sister. He quoted us a fair price considering our deadlines and amount of work that needed to get done. Our family initially went through the place obviously highly stressful and tiring. We removed items that were meaningful to us like her journals, photos, articles of clothing and some meaningful mementos. He and his team removed the rest. Also since this isn't his first rodeo as they say, he cleaned throughly and vacuumed for our walk through last Friday May 31st. My sister will definitely be calling him as she plans to down size in the very near future. Would highly recommend Adam and his Team, there is many companies we found like this but he took care of it in a way that would make our parents happy.
