I ordered a crib from toysrus and Estes refuses to deliver it to me because toysrus owes them money. This is not my problem I paid for this merchandise and they agreed to deliver it. Whatever issues they have with toysrus is between them and need to be worked out between the two companies. I will be filing a complaint with the Texas Attorney Generals office. I still have not received a phone call from Estes to set up delivery of my crib. I finally received my crib today 10/2/17 the delivery guys were very nice and even brought it into my house for me. The box it came in is in really bad condition so I will have to open it up and hope nothing is broken. If there is something wrong I get the feeling that Estes Express will deny it was there fault. I had no choice in who delivered my package but if I did I would never use Estes Express. When they did call me to setup delivery they called themselves dependable delivery. not sure if they are the same company but the paper work they left was labeled Estes Express. Upon inspection of my package there is significant damage to the crib. We will see what Estes Express will do to make this right. I'll keep this updated. read more

Completely ruined my shipment from home depot. Never called to schedule appointment just showed up at my house at 830am, thankfully I was home because it started raining soon after delivery. Driver was rude and not very helpful. I told him I noticed damage he refused to write anything on the order and told me to contact the company. Called company was transferred 3 times and finally talked to a woman who could care less about taking care of customer. After reading the reviews, I see that apparently Estes-Express really doesn't give a hoot about your experience. Absolutely worse delivery experience that I have had. First the customer service as far as notification is terrible. First received notification from Lowes last . week that the expected delivery was 11/15 and would be delivered by Estes. Estes delivery date was 11/17 - 11/22. On Tuesday the website stated 2 stops away at 11:00 am. I finally called at 4:00ish and was told it would be here by 5:00. At 6:00 still no delivery so I called again. This time was told that the truck had broken down and it would be delivered on Wednesday. At no time did anyone ever call, email or text me any updates. So Wednesday gets here, never heard from Estes at all,so about 9:00 I called the customer service number. Spoke to a very nice lady who assured me that I would be notified . The website first stated delivery at 11:45, then 1:43, then 3:45. I did nt receive any notification at all. To top it off, when the truck finally showed up around 4:15, the driver was afraid to come down my drive way. He refused to deliver the packages to the door. Now mind you I have a completely gravel driveway that is frequently used by UPS, Federal Express, Furniture delivery trucks, and even the gas truck. Apparently not only is the customer service poor, but the drivers apparently don't know how to drive either. Heartbroken is the word. I ordered a vanity from Home depot for my bathroom project, Este took a month to admit they lost the freight... i had a whole crew sitting waiting and delayed... I ordered the same vanity from Lowes they ended up using Este as well... today I called into the dock and they said the vanity is missing as well. We ordered a Vanity from Lowes, they said they were shipping it to Estes. Estes claimed they delivered it at one 1am on Saturday... no one delivers packages at that time. They claim we are lying and Lowes won't refund our money solely because Estes says they delivered! I'm about to call my bank and submit this as fraud and report them to the BBB. We have called everyday for 3 weeks to get this resolved and every time it's a run around. They claim they have pictures of it being delivered but won't produce them for us to even see what house it was delivered to. This review is for Estes Final Mile, which appears to be a subsidiary of Estes Express Lines. One star is too generous a rating for this company. We bought a large, and expensive, table and the seller unfortunately used Estes for delivery. It seemed to take a while to deliver, but we got over that. The process to either schedule a delivery time or request unattended delivery was OK I guess. However, when I got home to see the delivery they didn't deliver it at our house?!?! Instead, they placed it at our shop which is essentially an acre away. After three lengthy phone conversations with continued escalations to managers, each one of them basically said "the drivers are just gonna deliver it wherever they want to." Well, that's great. I don't know about you, but we have 5 acres and where they put our delivery isn't even remotely close to our house. They were just plain lazy - or too stupid to know the difference between a house and a shop. There was nothing blocking or preventing them from delivering to the house. WARNING: DO NOT SIGN UP FOR UNATTENDED DELIVERY AS THEY THEN THINK THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO DELIVER IT WHEREVER THEY WANT, NOT WHERE YOU INDICATE ON THE FORM. After an exhaustive search of their site, no where on their site or forms does it state that when you click that, you give up all rights. It's misleading and dishonest. The phone system to call "customer service" is overly complicated, and wait times are atrocious - over 30 minutes. The customer service reps don't really seem to be able to help at all - and they certainly don't care about the customer and the fact that their tactics for the unattended delivery service aren't properly communicated with customers. Estes is the worst. They will totally lie to you. Yesterday, I had a pallet out for delivery. I called in and asked about it at 3:30PM(which is our normal quitting time) and was told the truck was headed to us next. An hour later, I called back and was told that they were not going to deliver until today. So, we went home. I get into the office this morning and the tracking said they attempted to deliver at 5pm, a half hour after we left. Today they said they would deliver it earlier today, I guess we will see. In the mean time, a second pallet has been sitting on their dock for three days about 45 miles away. I have no control over the vendor that ships to us via ESTES, but I would never choose to use them. read more

This company's service is rotten to the core. This is my second experience with them, and it is no better than the first. Previously, closely to 50% of the shipment was smashed and beyond redemption. This time, I have been waiting for a delivery since last week, and each time there is a different story, and I have to keep repeating myself including correcting my phone number at least three times so far! Worse, they work with a home delivery partner called "Humble" in Massachusetts, who are even more ridiculous than Estes. Phone messages are not returned, and information is provided as drip-drip-drip, so each time one has to go through the torture of navigating their phone system, then speak with someone at the other end of the Pacific whose responses are so obtuse, you wonder if they are lifelings on Mars! It started off well. I ordered 3 pallets of flooring from Home Depot. 5 days later I received a call from Estes in West Deptford,NJ to arrange delivery. Scheduled it for the next day and was given a 9 hour delivery window (8am-5pm). Took off from work. At 4:30pm I called to check on the delivery. The agent said no delivery was scheduled. Really? I gave her the name of the person I spoke to and she placed me on hold. She came back and said someone canceled the delivery and sent it from freight to the residential delivery section. 2000 lbs. The weight exceeded residential delivery so they have to wait until it gets sent back. Was told it takes about a week to get back. Then I can call, back make another appointment, take off again and wait 9 hours. Totally ridiculous. Looking to cancel and order from somewhere else. ***Update- I changed my review from a one star to a four. I was contacted by Estes the next business day. Update* After writing this review I sent my PRO number to one of their people and the next day my order was moving and my tracking was way more updated than it was previously. I asked for the destination terminal to hold our order at the warehouse because it would be quicker than planning out a delivery. They did and we were able to pick up our order on Thursday the 3rd. Est. Delivery Date of Denver of Home Depot product was 4/17/19, that day came and went and it got bumped to 4/19/19, then 4/22. I called to see what was going on and was told that the shipment was locked in a trailer and on its way over to the last mile side of the business. I couldn't go pick it up because they wouldn't break the trailer down until the following monday(4/22), and then they would CALL TO SCHEDULE FOR A DELIVERY. I had already gone onto the website prior to 4/17 and scheduled my delivery for 4/17, curbside dropoff, no signature needed(As I work everyday and would be gone). So there is no chance it will get here before tuesday 4/23. What if I had taken these days off to wait around on a truck that would not have arrived that led me to believe it was arriving? Add 1 week to any delivery estimate they tell you and then roll the dice. read more

Estes delivers for Home Depot. I was to receive a delivery from them today for a lawn tractor I ordered from Home Depot. Home Depot notified me via text that it would be delivered. I called Estes to confirm but was on hold for 23 minutes listening to a recording with no one at Estes picking up the phone. I came home and no tractor. I called Estes this evening and I was told that they called me. When they gave me the phone number it was the wrong one and the woman on the phone said it was what was provided by Home Depot. I called Home Depot and they verified my phone number that they sent to Estes. Estes representative basically lied. This is why I don't like to order outside of Amazon. Update: Estes responded to my complaint and delivered my tractor. However, i the vents at the top were damaged.Both cracked and and scuffed up. I have cancelled my order with Home Depot and having the damaged tractor picked up. I will never use Home Depot as long as this carrier is delivering for them. Ordered a pallet of laminate flooring from Home Depot on May 4th, with an estimated delivery of May 13th - May 21 The 4th was not with me... Was told tracking would be available through Estes by May 7th, which it was. Tracking number tracked absolutely nothing. They have individual tracking for 5 different order methods (PRO, express, etc.) and the system is beyond atrocious. My number worked with only 1 of the 5 options, which pulled up a delivery to Toronto, Canada back in 2015. I live in California. Time to start worrying? Called to try to get an update on May 13th, package was not yet with Estes. Called again on May 15th. Spent 30 seconds on hold with Home Depot, who told me "I am so sorry in advance, but I have to contact Estes and remain on hold just like you in order to get an update from them." Sounded ominous. So I waited on hold while the poor Home Depot rep waited on hold... for 23 minutes... Time to start worrying? Estes just got the delivery from Home Depot and would call me within a day to process it and call to schedule delivery. This was around Noon. Had a missed call from Estes at 1:45pm saying to call back to schedule the delivery. Bad, delivered once and hide damaged side of box face down on pallet, and ran away, should have checked as it really didnt need to be on a pallet , turned over 2ft hole , cabinet in pieces. I ordered a glass panel from Fabglassandmirror through Amazon on 4/15 with prime (2-day). I was notified that it would delivered on 4/22. I called Fabglassandmirror and they advised me that it was delivered to Estes Express Lines and gave me their number. I called them on 4/30 and they advised me that my package would be sent to another company that day and they would call me within 2 days. A week later I called them and they said that I needed to call Fabglassand mirror. Essentially, I found out that our package which was extremely fragile sat on their docks and of course was not handled correctly and broke. They never called me to deliver, they never called me to tell me that it was broken - no communication with me at all. I had to call them at least 3 times to get an update. The last call was Michelle calling to tell me that her supervisor advised her to tell me to call the company where it was shipped from - WHY - because they sat on my shipment let it sit on the dock FOREVER and it broke! This is all the while our contractors are waiting to finish our bathroom and can't because now they have to ship a new one. I received an email today (almost a month from when I originally ordered it) that Fabglassandmirror will be shipping another glass using the same company - Estes - really? I will update this review to a better one if I actually receive the product and it's not broken within the week that it was sent. My package was to arrive on 4/1 to my residence (they had about a week prior to get it to me by 4/1), the freight truck was delayed and didn't even arrive till 4/4 (this i don't mind as weather conditions etc are expected in delays), great at least i get it by 4/5-6 right? Nope they wont transfer/unload the trailer since they received it 4 days ago, its just sitting there. I've been calling since 4/1 for my package and all they say is Tomorrow, its been 7 Tomorrows now and I still don't have my package. Seems there tracking system is a mess too if they cant give an accurate expected delivery time. Now i have to think twice ordering from this retailer for large products as it may end up with freight shippers like Estes, who as everyone can see has a low feedback rating. Update 4/8/19 11AM: They contacted me below to send them the details, I have sent it and they have not responded yet with anything. Will keep this updated so people can see how long it takes for them to resolve matters. Dont use. I have had my clients items sitting in their local warehouse for over a month. They answer phone (after plenty of wait time) and are pleasant but don't actually give you any answers. Our orders have been sitting innthe Tucson terminal for weeks. I even had Lowe's call them and they lied to Lowe's, saying they had called us several times, which they did not call us. We are without a bathroom vanity and a contractor we are paying while we wait. No other work can be completed until the bathroom vanity and the closet doors arrive. When I call them, I am told they are waiting on another company to deliver. This company is an absolute joke. Still NO CALL OR DELIVERY. My freight shipped 16 days ago. Tomorrow is 17 days and earliest possible delivery is now Thursday, 18 days from shipping. I have zero confidence I'll see my freight by Thursday. Might as well make it an even calendar month in transit. This has been sitting at the final mile terminal since 7/7. I was supposed to be contacted 1-2 business days after the package was delivered to final mile. Tomorrow will be 7 days and no contact. I have contacted the retailer and they've also been unable to get any response from this company. I ordered parts for a bull dozer, delivery date was supposed to be on teh 27,nothing on the 27th I check the web site nothing there so i call, I was told that material is in tenn and i will be delivered tomorrow, 28th comes and goes nothing I call again they tell me that it will be delivered tomorrow, again comes and goes nothing, now the 29th material is in dallas awaiting transport to longview texas so it can be delivered, again tomorrow, Everytime I call all i get it will delivered tomorrow, can someone tell me why this company cannot keep track of material, they have bar codes on everything and pro numbers they can tell me where it is but not when they will have it to me. THE WORST! I had a package shipped up from KY to NJ. They picked it up without any issues.....HOWEVER, once it got to NJ, it all became apparent that they don't have any communications within their own company and don't care about their residential clients, nor fulfilling their contractual obligation. When I called to schedule the home delivery....because they never called me.....I was told that the crate was moved to their residential terminal for delivery and I will get a call to schedule.....waited a few days....never received a call....so, I called again. WELL, then I was told that the residential terminal wouldn't deliver it because it was too big???!!!!!.....REALLY? It was the same size when it was picked up?? Wasn't too big at pickup! So, it was now being returned back to the other terminal and I would get a call. You know what happened next....no call. So, when I finally did speak to the terminal person, she told me that they would not deliver the crate into my home, which was the financial and contractual arrangement. They would only leave it at the curb....really....what am I suppose to do with it at the curb. After much discussion and absolutely no interest in fulfilling their agreement, they said they would leave it in the garage....gee THANKS...what am I going to do then. However, when they brought it to the house to leave in the garage, they wouldn't even do that! So, they just brought it back to the terminal. If you are thinking Este.....do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. AND, now I have seen the response from the company asking to look into it....etc....interesting, the exact same response for every 1 star review over a number of pages. If they had any real interest, they would resolve all the issues that are reported in the other reviews. We had to return not one but two bed frames due to shipping damage. The first bed frame was delivered with holes in the box that were on the underside and covered by the pallet. Upon opening the box we found out part of the frame had been crushed. After returning the first bed frame and waiting weeks, I was very disappointed when I had to refuse the second bed frame upon delivery. The second box had severe damage that was far worse than the first. Holes and rips all along the sides and practically half of the back of the box (for a California King size frame) was torn off and missing. The delivery driver even let me know that 75% of his shipments that day were refused due to damage. Never using this service again. read more

We called and spoke to the supervisor who said she'd get back to us, she never did. There are 2 packages and both are stuck, one was estimated to be delivered on 9th Oct and other between 15th-20th Oct. 1. PRO Number 037-8025270 Has been sitting in Sacramento for a couple of days now. This package was supposed to be delivered on 9th Oct, 2020. 2. PRO Number 037-8025267 Has been sitting in NASHVILLE, TN for a while now. With no information on when will it start from Nashville and get to San Mateo California. Original estimated delivery was between 15th-20th Oct. I really hope this gets delivered on time as we are on a tight deadline to complete our renovation project and move in into our new first home. read more

My shipment arrived at Ventura, CA terminal on Jan 15th. Sat there until Jan 20th, and has made its way to Oklahoma City where it has been since yesterday, just says awaiting departure... And website initially said delievry expected Jan 20th, well it doesnt appear it will hit that milestone. I did not choose this shipper, Lowes did. Now I know why they didn't charge me for shipping, terribly slow service. I would not purposely choose Estes again.. Estes delivery service sucks. Flat out. Sucks. I ordered two different pellet stoves on two different occasions and they destroyed the first one and dented and scuffed up the second from what looks like being tipped over. The first stove I was told three different delivery dates and they were all wrong. Finally showed up when I was getting home, after 7, in the dark, when it was supposed to be next day between 1-4PM. Pallets were all destroyed on bottom and pellet stove shipping brackets ripped out or completely sheared off from rough mis-handling.
