A lot of different options from fish, pasta, meat, etc. For starter, they gave us bread with a mayo sauce that was good. We had a starter and thought we ordered tomatoes/cheese on bread. Ended up with a caprese salad. Language issue - whoops. Still like the salad! Husband had the scampi arabiata -- several big shrimp, it has a nice red sauce (slightly spicy) and came with a salad, and roasted rosemary potatoes (pretty good). I had the fried chicken liver salad. There was really no batter but it had some kind of marinade that was good. Ate it up! 2 kids had a margherita pizza each. They ate most of it. 4 options on kids menu! Overall meal was 68 Euros. No credit card. Staff was friendly, tried to use English. We had to wave her down a few times for the bill. There where 5 other occupied tables and three waitresses but nothing seemed to happen. I started timing. Ten minutes after we ordered, we were told the drinks they would be with us shortly. They arrived five mins later with the food. (Quick tip: ALWAYS bring the drinks ASAP and ALWAYS before the food- that way it's more likely that a second drink will be ordered; thus making more money and maybe more tips.) The food however was good and the portions large but nothing out of this world. Cute inside. Quite highly priced but OK if you're not expecting much. Large terrace and a good place to "be seen" if thats what you're into. Wouldn't recommend too highly.

On a sunny day, we saw seats outside and decided to try it out for lunch. We had some wine, a pizza and noodles with gorgonzola and bacon. First and foremost, the prices here are a joke. I live in the area so I know it's not cheap around here. At the same time, the prices here are higher than everywhere around and the portions are smaller. The pizza is a decent size but they forgot one of the ingredients. Further, it was thin-crust but mushy and wet. Nothing crunchy or appealing about this dish. The noodles were bland and I think I counted about 15 pieces (in total) of penne. This as a main course and for something like 12 Euros. The pizza for somewhere in the vicinity of 15 Euro for the "large" was ridiculous. The wine, also not cheap, was OK but nothing more. Finally, service was a joke. Slow is an understatement. Disinterested and unprofessional fits the bill. So, why two stars? Well, I really like the decor inside. It is well styled. Further, it's a nice location and if you are only coming in for a couple glasses of wine, fine. I'll give them two stars for deco and location. Otherwise, everything else is a joke. Finally, you better like snobs. The place is usually full of your usual Eppendorfer clowns. Pinks, greens, animal prints, silicon lips, LV bags and so forth. I can usually drown them out and mostly find them amusing decoration for a place. They entertain me well but I know enough people who would gag at their sight and here you don't have to wait long for the "show" to begin.
