Now take into consideration my wife and I are over 70 and drive maybe 7k miles a year and our cars are over 10 years old, we've been in our home over 20 years and we're on a fixed income. Our old insurance company just increased our rates with what they said was a national average of 9%. and that also reflected in our home insurance.
