My husband and I have been with…read moreState Farm Insurance for 30+ years and have had different agents, depending upon where we lived.We loved them all. Called him to ask him about a payment that wasn't applied , and instead RG talks to me about how much commission he makes off of all of our policies, "Enough to keep the doors open for 3 minutes." What? What does any of that have to do with not posting our payment to one of our vehicles? Seriously! And talk about the run around! Payment was made in full a week before it was due, 3 weeks later we get a cancellation notice. Then we get a reinstatement notice. NONE of this should ever have taken place whatsoever. AND no explanation for any of it. We should have switched agents long ago! Well, you did it to yourself Ron. As of last week, we have a new agent who we find is professional just like all the SF agents we had before you. (*sigh* of relief!) We went with Lorrie Carter instead and she's absolutely fantastic! This is a small town and I always try to support when I can, but this was outrageous. Here's my email response to him: My response: "Your response is both disgusting and wildly unprofessional. I live in this town as I know you do too. I will definitely be sharing this with my friends to show them the type of agent you are. Money hungry and rude. In the meantime, let me know whatever I have to do to get out of your office. It was after 5:30pm when my wife called and left a message. Monday morning there was no call back so my wife called again got the actual policy information and was treated rudely by whomever was in the office. Even a simple question about a claim phone number for Dairyland insurance was met with rudeness. I'm thankful I don't have to deal with these rude people any longer. If you don't want people to call when they have a claim, then provide the actual insurance provider on the proof of insurance being kept in your customers vehicle! We could've began the claim sooner if we would have been provided the correct information on the accident scene.
