I went to this spa last week and I was so happy that I took the extra time to get there from my location. Each person I worked with (and I had 3 services -- facial, was, & nails) were so nice and very competent in their line of work. I was so happy and pleased with my time there and highly recommend this location for these services. I have to say, in all the years that I have had all these services, I never had this really nice experience (although there were many great experiences). When I was done my facial and wax, I came out to get my nails done and a cup of tea and 3 heart-shaped ginger cookies were waiting for me! In probably 10+ years that I've done all these services together, never have I once gotten something so sweet. I was so touched by this. And even though I am English speaking and speak very little Spanish, I felt completely understood regarding the services I desired and I walked away feeling very satisfied with all my services with each person! I just had the most amazing experience at Estética del Born. Rebecca did a great job on my Brazilian wax and made it quick and nearly painless! I haven't gotten a Brazilian wax in a long time so I was a little nervous at first, but she talked me through the process and was very calming and understanding. I then got my eyebrows done with the other esthetician and she shaped them exactly how I wanted! I showed her a photo of the way I wanted them to look and she was able to achieve the look I wanted! After, I got a mani pedi and the pedicure was unlike any I've gotten before. It was very comfortable and so relaxing, and my nails look AMAZING! This salon is an absolute gem! If you come to Barcelona, you must visit! I requested an appointment via Yelp, and received a reply very quickly. Rebecca was helpful and booked my appointment for that afternoon. The location itself is in the heart of El Born--a very fun, hip, and lively neighborhood. However, the salon is located on a smaller street where it is very quiet and peaceful. I am very happy with my manicure and pedicure. I get mani-pedi often and I was impressed by the quality of service and the care they took each step of the way. I highly recommend this spot! I managed to get a same day appointment after I sent a request via Yelp. So it was already a good sign that she was so quick to reply to my message. I got to my appointment in time and only had to wait a few minutes while she finished working with another client. The spa was clean and organized. I did a Brazilian and it went quickly and with minimal pain. Only downside is that she used the same wa stick throughout which can be a concern for contamination of the pot of wax. I consoled myself with the fact that the wax was hit and hopefully that would reduce the risk of cross contamination from one client to another. read more

Very good! I have been going for brazilian waxes in the US at a well-known company for years now. They do a good job, and for the most part, I've enjoyed my service. However, being that I am in Spain, I found Estética del Born and am delighted with the service. Better yet, the wax was 21 euro! The therapists that we had was a delight, very quick and professional. : ) Prices are also reasonable- they have a whole list and even some packages. just ask them via Message. They also sell skin care products that smelled and felt divine. We did a Hollywood Wax (all off) for €21 and Underarms+ Whole Legs for €26.
