I was going to pay on the first but they took the money from my account less than a week after notifying me there was a bill. My insurance covered a lot of my initial appointment but they charged 500 dollars and I had to pay almost 200 very suddenly. When you sign up, they don't tell you they'll do this on the site. I gave my card information to cover co-pays but didn't expect to get this sudden charge. Also, he barely talked to me for 30 minutes, prescribed me medicine without telling me the side effects, and then I was charged over 500 for an hour. At the next appointment when I said I was having side effects, he dismissed them. Be very careful going here for mental health care. If you have other options, go there. Keep looking around. This place is full of red flags.

They also have a great front desk staff who are friendly and make sure to keep you informed. For example, I had an appointment that had to get cancelled once because the therapist got sick, and the front desk both called and texted me to make sure I was aware of the cancellation and they offered me some new appointment times. The facilities are also always very clean. Once you become a regular patient, you can use their online scheduling system which is very convenient and easy to use. They also have a parking lot, which is a nice plus! I always look forward to my massage appointments at Eastlake Chiropractic and Massage and highly recommend them!

First, I was explicitly quoted a $0 co-pay. Based on that information, I attended weekly appointments for nearly two months. Suddenly, co-pays started being deducted from my account on file. When I called to investigate, I was told there was a co-pay after all, and I was being back-billed for multiple past appointments. While I understand that the co-pay amount itself may be determined by insurance, there is a serious ethical issue with charging and back-charging a client's card without any prior notification or statement. Because I was quoted zero, I had no reason to go looking for hidden statements in an online portal. Second, while I was away on vacation, I was scheduled for a time that I was not used to and unfortunately forgot the appointment. I received absolutely no notification, phone call, text, or email reminder on the day of the session. Despite the total lack of communication, they promptly charged my card a $180 no-show fee. This is how much I trust Dr. Suver…read more Every time my partner and I consider buying a new home, we pull up Google maps and run my "ultimate test": how far will this house be from Dr. Suver. Dr Suver is one of the best humans I know. Seriously. I just came back from a 10 day vipassana meditation retreat. For those of you who don't know, your day starts when you wake up at 4 am and ends at 9 pm. Most of the day you're sitting and meditating. No phones. No talking. Naturally, I was super nervous about it in general because of all the chronic pain I have day to day that builds up in my neck and spine. If I sit the wrong way, it ends up feeling like it's burning between my vertebrae and my muscles and connective tissue. There are times the pain is so much and leads to anxiety and depression, but seeing Dr Suver for the past two years is what has gotten me through most of it. So the week prior I had a mysterious flare up on my right rib which ended up traveling and locking up my entire neck. I was in sooooo much pain. I reached out to dr Suver (who was on vacation with his family mind you) about my concerns and not only did he give me a bunch of suggestions... he reached out a day later to tell me he set something up with a colleague who has his own private practice. He even called in a favor negotiated a special rate since my rates are much lower at Dr Suver's. Also.. my adjustments require laser precision. I'm one of the more extreme clients who can't just get adjusted by any 'ol chiropractor. He explained to his colleague exactly how to adjust me so I wouldn't have to. Not that I would know. Seriously he is so intuitive. I can go in with pain and guarding and within seconds, he knows exactly where I need an adjustment. I just cannot praise him enough. You have no idea how much that means as a person who has chronic pain. I still had some residual pain on my neck but it was enough to make me feel comfortable going and sitting. It's rare to meet businesses who continually care for you after the initial honeymoon first impression phase. I think I've been with Dr Suver for two years now and I'm not looking back! Seriously. Dr. Suver is incredible due to his genuine efforts to listen and adjust accordingly to each patients' specific condition, week by week. On weeks when things were rough or I was in a weak state, he was great about backing off and only ramping it up when appropriate. He did an excellent job gauging when my body and mind were able to take heavy or light work. Initially Dr. Suver did the proper groundwork with verbal, physical, and imaging diagnostics. He did a great job of walking me through the process. I did find relief and aid from his adjustments as well as the massage therapist who is a part of SCLC (Trevor). That said, many weeks it was extremely intense and exhausting as my body reacted to the adjustments. Dr. Suver was clear and honest from the beginning saying that the fairly severe issues with my atlas (connection area between top of spine and skull) and lower lumbar could be improved but potentially not solved completely but he would do his best. I appreciated that honesty and that clear expectations were set. No fairy tales. We agreed on a 6 months timeline of treatments to try to make it work. After the 6 months I stopped seeing Dr. Suver due to the cost struggling to cover things out of pocket and it seemed we had reached a wall of improvement. As opposed to the horror stories you may hear of providers trying to continuously tie a patient into further work, Dr. Suver understood the position and things finished well without any aggressive selling attempts. That said, I could tell Dr. Suver genuinely wished he could treat me longer because he wanted to solve the problem completely! A real class act. I noticed relief from his work and would absolutely recommend him. After a move from Seattle I have seen another chiropractor in network who confirmed much of Dr. Suver's professional opinion and added on PT/strengthening exercises in order to try to maintain and improve the efficacy of the adjustments. Nevermind that I could have opted to pay out of pocket and set up an appointment that way, but apparently, they/their staff see fit to condescend to would-be clients with the passive aggression and disrespect. If you're part of the lowly aetna lot, we'll need to find an LMT elsewhere, among our low quality providers..
