Sam made my home purchase a great and memorable experience. But it wasn't always that way. I was very skeptical in the beginning because I'd had several Realtors promise me they could take care of all my needs and get me in a house. I submitted all the initial paperwork to start the process four times with different loan officers and Realtors only to find out after weeks that they in fact weren't going to be able to get me approved for a home. Each time this happened it became more frustrating. It's not a good feeling having all your personal information out there and watching your credit score drop as they each ran my credit. Being new to the area, I stumbled upon Sam by chance at an open house. I had talked to other real estate agents previously, but I felt an immediate comfort level with Sam. His style is a non-pushy approach to real estate. He gives you all the data you need to make the best decision possible and provides his advice when asked, but never pushes you towards a decision. He showed us as many houses as we asked to see, always accommodating our schedule which was extremely hectic at the time. This gave us a huge advantage to being one of first clients in houses after they hit the market. We fell in love with a house and went under contract only to have a tough decision to make after the inspection report. When most agents would push to close the escrow, Sam let us come to our own decision and we canceled the contract. He reassured us we were making the right decision. Then, he found us another property that turned out to be much better. In the middle of escrow, the area the property was in had a state of emergency issued which killed our financing we had in place. Sam worked tirelessly to find a lender that would still lend in the area as all of our attempts had come up short. Throughout the process Sam was extremely patient with us as there were some very tough decisions to make. Every time I called him, which was a lot, he answered or called me back immediately.
