So it's not a bad club but it's not great either...I have been here several times over the years as…read moremy friend use to be a member of that Gun club a year or so ago and let his membership expire so I couldn't go with out him since Iam not a member. Now having said that there was a few times out of the many times we went where we had an issue with someone (didn't even know if they were a worker there, another member or just some fudd). But over petty things, my friend and I are very safety oriented and aware of our muzzles & know the 4 rules of gun safety (which there's more then 4 but we'll leave it at that) and we are not jerks. I am also a certified RSO and we like to run n gun and not just stay static on a flat range to challenge ourselves and push ourselves to get better. Having said all of that at times they can be over bearing and stifling, so I have not been back except to do a mandatory training course I had to do and had no choice. I prefer other places over this but I will go if I was able to and didn't have to pay for it. Lol again not terrible but they need to be more friendly and inviting especially to the younger crowds and teach them how not behave around and with firearms.

It is evident that they have a passion for shooting. One of the RO's let me shoot his Mosin-Nagant, which was incredible. We shot pistols, rifles, and trap. Trap was a blast! The RO helping us with trap also gave us really great tips that made a huge impact on our shooting. The best part of the experience though wasn't what I gained, it was what I lost! I lost my ring...not my engagement ring, thank God, but my Oura Ring, which is a pricy little biotracker. By the grace of God, they actually found it along with all the brass! Vince was kind enough mail it back to me! He was so kind and cool throughout our correspondences about the ring. I really appreciate his efforts. It was one of those gestures that really sets their customer service experience apart from others and, in a way, reminds you of the kindness of people. Thank you so much guys. We will definitely be back whenever we are in town!

Went to range this morning and positioned a target and had range master (John Bernardi) come out…read moretelling me that "if you continue to place the target like that" I'm going to have to tell you to leave. This was the first time I moved the target so I'm not sure where he came about stating that there was some continuous commission of an unpermitted act so as to warrant him telling me that he's going to kick me out. I responded telling him that I thought all he wanted (based on his initial directions when I got on the range) was to not place the target on the cement 5 yard dividers and I told him that I had placed mine 4" away from it. His response "Are you arguing with me? You need to leave." I complied and I took off my target and walked back which is when I asked the gentleman for his name and his response "I don't have one. Complain to the board, see if I care." This man was on a power trip and it's concerning that the board allows someone with no deescalation practices to be a range master. I was more than happy to move the target wherever he told me but to respond to me in the way that he did was unprofessional in my opinion. Hopefully Andrew Hernandez (president) will have a talk with John because based on other reviews this is not the first criticism of his behavior towards shooters.

They do not have an atm available. You have to drive down the road awhile, to find an atm. This place also closes early! It closes at 3:30pm. So, you have to get there early. Otherwise it isn't worth your time. There's no service or Internet. If you are glued to your phone, this isn't the place for you. No cell service. No social media. No phone calls. It's an outdoor shooting range, in the desert of San Bernardino. It's gets very hot. Too hot for my blood. I need trees, shade and air conditioning. I like the appeal of the outdoor environment, but the heat really makes it not enjoyable. I guess it is not too bad if you don't mind driving to the middle of nowhere to shoot.

As a novice shooter I don't expect much from a range vs just go and shooting at targets, but after going to a few I now know amenities is nice to have and Lytle has it. They have wooden beams that you can put a 2x1 (i believe) target stand in. Some are raggity so you have to put a shim or just stick a rock to stablize it. They also set up steels for you to shoot. You can also bring your own steels. Certain areas have a patio cover and i see them building more covers as well. Lytle has quite a lot of different range lengths. I believe 100y, 200y, and 300y. An area with a bunch of steels that you can try out, but I believe thats an extra $10. RSO are chill and knowledgeable so if you have a question they are happy to help. You do have to pick up your own shells, they have a broom and occasionally RSO will help. They have portapotties that don't reek. You can bbq and make a whole day out of it. There is no time limit. Unfortunately, the price did go up. it is $35 a head now. Even with a price increase, this is still will be my go to spot.

PROS: 1. It's cheap…read more($2 parking, $6 tickets). 2. There aren't usually many people there (unless it's July 4 because they have fireworks after the game), so you'll get a seat for sure. (When I went, they said they were almost sold out of the $6 tickets and there wouldn't be many seats left, but when I got in, only 1/4 or 1/3 of the stadium was full.) No matter where you sit, you'll be able to see. 3. On Family Feast days, hot dogs and sodas are $1. 4. There's a Juice it Up tent, which is one of the best parts, in my opinion. ;) $4.50, which gets you a 24oz drink at a regular location, gets you a 16oz drink here. 5. There's a big, fenced-in grassy area next to right field for the kids to play on, and there's a small jump house there too. 6. If the Mavericks get 9 runs in a game, the whole stadium gets coupons for 2 free tacos from Jack in the Box. It happened when I went! 7. Wooly Bully is the mascot, and a lame slice of pizza is a mascot too (Papa John's advertising). The mascots dance on the dugout, try to get fans to cheer/do the wave, and throw a couple bags of popcorn to the audience. 8. The kids get to run across the field after the 7th inning. Lots of silly games and entertainment between innings. 9. They pass a hat every time a Mavericks player gets a home run. The employee told me that 100% of the money goes to the players. CONS: 1. Let's be honest, the Mavericks aren't a great team. They're not a terrible team either, but I stopped rooting for any team and started rooting for whoever made a good play. On the bright side, Mavericks actually won against the Storm 10-9 when I went. 2. The score board person didn't keep track of the errors, which was disappointing for those of us who did. 3. You can't understand anything they announce/say through their speakers or mics. The system is very poor quality. 4. I waited in line at the concession stand for at least 2, probably 3, innings. The workers were hurrying, so the stadium REALLY needs to have more than ONE window serving food. 5. They served me cans of hot soda (which I was able to trade in for cold ones), they were out of pepperoni pizza, and they were out of hot dogs by the time I left. 6. Sometimes you honestly can't tell if you're talking to an employee or a fan. The employees need to wear uniforms, and the same uniform at that. 7. They don't recycle any of the cans and bottles that get left in their stadium. Think of how much money they could make (and the impact on the environment they could have) if they recycled them all. 8. During one of their between-innings shows, they had "cowboys" with real guns. The good cowboys stood on the dugout and watched the bad cowboys fight each other. After a little while, the good cowboys drew their guns and shot the bad cowboys. The guns really did go off with empty rounds, and the bad cowboys pretended to die. Was this supposed to be heroic? Teaching all the observant kids that if you see someone doing something bad, shooting them is the praiseworthy response? Not trying to break up the fight? The stadium announcer provided no intro or explanation. So much for a family-friendly atmosphere. I plan to ask for an explanation from the stadium tomorrow. If the conversation goes anywhere, I'll post an update. CONCLUSION: The Mavs need to open more than one window for food at the concession stand, and they crossed a line with the fake shooting in front of a ton of kids. But I like the place overall, and it's a cheap night of fun. I'll come back again (I always do), but I won't be in a hurry to do so.

It's a private outdoor range with top-notch facilities (seriously - where else can you shoot a pistol at 80 yards?!?), open 24/7 except for weather closures. The staff is excellent, and the rules strike a perfect balance - minimal restrictions for practice, training, or just hanging out, as long as you're safe. I still feel lucky to have made it through the waiting list and been approved for full membership. Brought the family for the first time recently, and the smiles on their faces said it all.

The range we were at was up to 200 yds but I'm told that they have 500 yd + ranges within the establishment. I've gone back a couple of times. I think this is my new local rifle range.

This batting facility has the only HitTrax in the High Desert. It's $20 a month to keep your stats recorded. You can practice batting on one of the MLB fields. There is an area with a pitching mound and home plate, two lanes with pitching machines in addition to the HitTrax lane. They have a bench for parents and a workout area. The facility is clean and well kept. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a wonderful place to come and hit some balls, just be sure to book your slot before coming.
