    Molcahete
    Karen N.

The best meal we have had on our vacation. The fettuccine Alfredo is made from melting a wheel of cheese with flaming whiskey, then adding pasta with mushrooms and shrimp. My husband had the molcahete, also very good (and then finished my pasta!).

I was told this is one of the fanciest places in the area. The interior is very welcoming, full of wood, and sort of dark. Service was not there, I would expect more (with servers forgetting things several times). I really liked the shrimp kabobs, would order them again. The stuffed octopus was also great, but it had way too much salt to my taste. The chocolate cake was just ok, but I didn't expect much from it.

This place was top notch. A nice little oasis tucked about 3 miles off the main highway. Primarily tourists here, as the prices are closer to that of an American restaurant, but great nonetheless. The staff is unbelievably friendly, great service the whole night. The chef, Javier, came to our table to chat after our meal. I ordered the lobster dinner and it did not disappoint. It can't get any fresher than this as the restaurant is right on the bay! I also saw the NY style cheesecake get popped right out the oven so I had to order it and it was sooo good. When I come back to visit, I'll be sure to stop here for a nice sit-down dinner.

The food was delicious, our server was very informative about the plates and food choices. The ambience was very cozy and welcoming. I will definitely go back and recommend this place. The margaritas are the bomb!

Epilogue: If I had to say there was one theme coming from reviews about Eucalipto, it would be that it is expensive. Things that are expensive have higher expectations because there's a high bar that compliments the price. So, I was skeptical. I mean, what could a restaurant associated with an old fishing spot in San quintin offer? After having two world class meals there, the delivery exceeded the expectations and cost. I'm now in the camp that says that if you take the time to get to San Quintin, you can't afford to miss Eucalipto. Compared to the States, it's half the price. Each dish is well crafted using the best of ingredients, massive portions and unique offerings, like Black Brant. Make the trip.

    Javier working hard

Fantastic!! Javier, owner and head chef, is an excellent cook. He really takes his time to make sure his dishes are prepared well. You can see the kitchen from the main seating area, and you can see him actually taste-test his dishes before he sends them out. To top it off, he is kind and welcoming. The food is top notch. Fresh steaks, fresh seafood. If it isn't fresh, it's not served here. I had one of the best filet minion of my life here. I had some of the best ceviche and sashimi of my life here as well. Expect to spend a few hours here. It takes time to make good food. The ambiance is relaxing and very cozy. You will certainly enjoy every moment.

So many great places to relax and enjoy your meal this spot was our personal favorite.

This place, in a word " Incredible". 5 star restaurant without a doubt. Same gos for the ambiance they created. For those of you who don't know the area here is a tip. Find "the Old Mill" . Very popular. Walk around back. ( If your walking on gravel you are on the right path". I've been a "Elite" for several years. I can say without hesitation this place serves the freshest well prepared seafood I ever had. Word is everything they serve is exceptional. (That gos for breakfast as well). All at a very reasonable price too! Wish I took more photos but even the Caesar salad was comfortably the best I ever had. ( See photo). If it's on the menu, it's going to be exceptional. That's been my experience after eating 3 meals here.

We've been coming to the Old Mill for years, and we've seen this place really grow into something special! One of the best meals you'll have in Baja, let alone in the San Quintin area. They obviously provide a very nice setting for couples and small parties, with intimate lighting and music. They are also our #1 choice in the area for our off road group runs of 40+ people. Javier does an amazing job catering to our group, providing incredible meals, and ensuring the party rolls on! You won't be disappointed giving Eucalypto a try!!!!

Four of came for dinner tonight. Had mushrooms stuffed with crab for an appetizer. Also served smoked marlin dip with chips. Two of us had filet mignon with shrimp skewers that were cooked perfect and a big piece of steak (enough dinner for two). My wife had rack of lamb that was cooked perfect. My friend had pasta with shrimp and loved, but couldn't eat it all. It was an exceptional meal and experience! We have been in the past and will go again in the future. Javier said he has a sword fish special this weekend. Try it ou.

We make a point to make the 10hr trip from Phoenix down to San Quintin ever year, largely in part to visit Javier and Adriana at Eucalipto. Everything we have had is beyond amazing. My husband and I usually split the seafood pasta special and it is by far the best meal we have ever had. The customer service, attention to detail, and the hospitality of Eucalipto is top notch. Our kiddos have fallen asleep at dinner and we were given fresh pillows from the hotel so they could be more comfortable and we could stay and finish our dinner. This restaurant is a MUST visit when visiting Baja

Catch of the day with lobster can't beat fresh seafood well prepared - amazing dish
    Marc B.

Amazing place and great location at the bay. The chef Xavier prepared the meals in an open kitchen and the daily specials are truly amazing. You can't beat fresh seafood well prepared with amazing creativity. The service was damaging as well - we will be back for sure !

I've been to Buzzards a number of times and each time I am absolutely amazed at the quality of the food and service. This trip I had their Chile Rellenos and all I can say is WOW-WOWWEEE-WOOOOOH MAN OH MAN!!! These were the best rellenos I've ever had any place any time! Absolutely perfect lightly battered to perfection...filled with a treasure of shrimp and spices... (pausing to drool at the moment folks...give me a moment). The presentation also is wonderful. A personal tortilla cup filled with refried beans ( also awesomely tasty ) and a side bowl of rice. This plating was great for ascetic presentation but also very functional as you didn't have the typical rice/beans soaked in the Rellano sauce. And the Relleno sauce was heavenly by the way! Folks one thing I have to say about Buzzards... Everyone that works there is SOOOOOOO happy! This is a sign that they are treated with respect and appreciation. And I can confirm that Paul the owner is absolutely the most gracious of hosts and well...just a great guy! Do yourself a favor... stop by Buzzards Bar & Grill and get a solid recharge of the soul. Great food, great drinks, great people... AND it's all in Baja! It don't get better than that!!!
