Zero stars. I called them and a person just imitated an automatic response that said to call back later. Didn't have the balls to talk to me, just kept trying to repeat the same statement like he was a robot, while people laughed in the background. What a crap company. Glad to see the customer service is consistently bad even after a complaint. Our ride to the show made it, and was on the phone the whole time. I saw probably twenty other people get in cabs after the show, not sure why you guys couldn't make it. I just don't want people to ignore the bad reviews like we did and get stranded late at night. Pros: Reliable service, & have responded well to having to reschedule our pick-up times due to changing flights. Friendly drivers. 20% discount for ordering in advance (which most of the time they remember). Cons: Drivers don't seem to wear their seat belts for some reason. Most cabs are clean, but the last one we got smelled like it had been marinated in cigarette smoke & I had to leave my window open so I could breathe (I'm allergic) & wash my clothes & hair when I got home to get the stink out. Granted, this was only the last cab we got out of using this company's cabs about 6 times, hence the 4 stars. Do wish they'd wear their seat belts, though....only 1 of the 6 times did the cabbie wear his seat belt. read more

Great company. I use them regularly. They are always on time. Drivers are pleasant and cars are clean.

Overall, my experience was good. The taxi came to pick me up within 20 minutes of my call, the driver was polite and the ride was fine. My one complaint is that the fare was several dollars higher than what I'd paid for a slightly longer route with another cab company the day before. read more

Took them 45 minutes to pick me up. We had to call them three times and they dispatched two different cars. They didn't explain at all. It makes it pretty hard to root for them over Uber. read more

Called for a cab, waited almost an hour for it and when the car finally showed up, it smelt like pure weed. I don't know if the driver had been smoking or a passenger was, but the smell gives me a headache and a sore throat. So I didn't appreciate it. Will not be using them again. read more

Dispatcher is a liar! I needed to be picked up and she hesitated when she lied that all the cabs were at the airport! I luckily got picked up by a friend and guess what? We went right by TWO of their cabs! I called her back demanding an explanation and she continued hesitating while lying that she didn't know anything. What crap! I'm not supporting a company that lies to customers because they don't want to do their job! Go with someone else, like Oregon Taxi. This company is messed up, I should have listened to my friend who recently said his driver was terrible and that she bumped the car! Lousy! Edit: oh and one of the drivers pulled a gun on somebody recently! That should tell you their ethics! read more

Pretty standard taxi service. Crazy but nice drivers, somewhat clean cars, not a terribly long wait after calling. My only issue is how short and rude the operators are when calling for a cab. read more

I was nervous booking a taxi to the airport because I didn't want to be late, but the driver surprised me by showing up early! Ten minutes before I had scheduled him, I got a text saying he was waiting for me and to take my time. Driver was very nice and helpful, ride was well-price, and I will definitely use this company again. read more

I was very happy with my experience with this company. Chet, was the name of the driver who picked me up. He was 5 minutes early and had the car already turned around and ready to go. He was very friendly and helpful. The company offers a 20% discount if you set up an appointment in advance. I would highly recommend them, cheap cab fare. read more

My flight was running late, but my cab was already there and waiting when I finally arrived. If you reserve beforehand, they get your flight information to track your plane and they'll text and call you about where they are so they are ready for your arrival. This is a really nice feature as my plane came in at 1 AM and I had been traveling all day so I was exhausted and really just wanted to go home and crash. The cab was clean and the driver Benjamin was super friendly and talkative which I appreciated because the car ride wasn't awkwardly silent. The price was $26 from the airport to the university area which is quite cheap compared to how much my friends have paid for shuttles. I would definitely recommend this company if you need a ride anywhere! read more

Worst cab company EVER I called at 10pm for a taxi at 8:15am the next morning, they took my time/address/number and I thought it was curious they said, "I'll see you there at 8:15" without taking my name, anyways the time comes to 8:20am and no taxi has arrived so I call and get a song and dance about how, "It must be someone else's fault, dispatcher's fault," It was obviously the same guy, very distinct voice sounding nasally that told me both cabs were busy and he could get me within 15-20 minutes..... 25 minutes later I got a ride from someone else. I bet they weren't even going to show up after I called the second time. Worst cab company ever. 0 stars, they should not be in business. read more

Credit cards accepted" I called for advance reservation to the airport and the guy was incredibly rude from the get go. Then I find he would not honor the 20% discount. He said the discount only applied to round trip, however, their ad does not state that and when I pointed that out he hung up on me! So I didn't get a great first impression the moment he answered the phone and it went downhill from there. Sad, as I like to go green whenever possible but won't ever go with them despite the fact that I still need a shuttle! read more

Have tried to reach Eugene Taxi Cabs twice in two days, only to get a message that says, "thank you for calling Eugene Hybrid Taxi Cabs, we are extremely busy, please call back shortly". Not a great thing if you need a ride immediately! Fortunately, I was trying to make a reservation. Won't even try again. read more

I called to get a cab in a pinch and the dispatcher was extremely rude! He kept talking over me and even yelled at me twice because i misunderstood him. He ended up hanging up on me. This is NOT how you run a business! I will make sure this company is never recommended and they lost my business. They don't even deserve a star. read more

I won't ever use this company again due to the horrible service I received trying to set up a ride. My husband and I took the cab to the airport. Our driver was amazing! Since I was flying back by myself, I asked for the cab driver's card so I could set it up for my return flight. He didn't have one which was okay but he assured me that I could call on my way back. Upon returning, I called like I was told. The dispatcher was rude and not helpful. He said he couldn't help me and proceeded to hang up on me when I was in mid sentence explaining what the previous cab driver told me. After all of this, I ended up using a different cab company that I will definitely be referring to my clients and family. read more

We got stuck at a motel that was too far away to walk to the Duck football game and used this company to get to and from the game. They were terrific and easy to work with. We received a text letting us know that the cab was on its way. Both times the driver arrived on time (or early) and was friendly and helpful. The cabs were clean and the prices were as estimated. We'll definitely use them again if we find ourselves in need of a ride in Eugene! read more

I could not be more disappointed in Hybrid Taxi. I called them to get a ride and the phone rang 8-10 times so I hung up to check the number and call back. Verified number so called again, then was told the driver was on the other side of town so the wait would be twenty minutes, I said OK. 25 minutes later I called, no answer, agin at 30 then 35 no answer, called over and over no answer, then after waiting 40 minutes, the driver called saying he was on his way would be there in 10 minutes, he arrived about 18 minutes after saying ten go a wait of 58 minutes. Then the driver pulls up, I raise my arm to let him know I called for the ride, then reach for the door to get in and this rude jerk hit the gas and started to leave. He is as bad as any driver could possibly get and Hybrid Taxi is unprofessional, dishonest, rude and unreliable. Do not ever call this company or believe their arrival time because they are dishonest. read more
