I left there each time feeling mentally, spiritually and physically balanced and lit up! I could never quite keep up with the teachers but they never required any level of ability & I just did what I could. They have a very calming & reverent feel to the class, very much inspiring me toward self-improvement in all areas of life. The only reason I didn't give Yoga West 5 stars is that they started getting kinda pushy with me, trying to pressure me into joining their religion. It was actually really surprising to me that such inspiring people would be trying to push a religion. I respect their practice very much, but pressuring people to practice it with them seems so far from their style, I just didn't get it. Welcoming anyone who shows interest in one's religion is beautiful but a pushy and assuming attitude just doesn't seem befitting of one who carries themselves as a teacher of truly self-enriching practices. It started feeling uncomfortable & so I stopped going. Unfortunate, since as I mentioned the actual yoga classes were amazing and I would have loved to continue striving to be able to keep up with these people! But at any rate, I'll always remember these classes and teachers and carry that inspiration with me.

I started taking my daughter to classes at Embody Play Yoga about a year and a half ago and have…read morebeen taking her there ever since. My daughter had recently been diagnosed with ADHD and her therapist had mentioned yoga might help. The classes ended up being much more than just yoga. Leticia integrated mindfulness techniques with yoga and play, creating both a fun and calming atmosphere. My daughter eventually transitioned from not only classes and workshops but individuals sessions, as well. Through practice and the continued perseverance of both her and her teacher, she has grown so much and is able to self-manage and focus much better, all without the use of medication. I cannot recommend Leticia and Embody Play enough!

From the first class I observed, I knew that EPY had something more to offer than a traditional kid's yoga class. During the class, the families weren't just sitting still and learning meditation techniques. They were running around, dancing, making silly sounds; a huge smile spread across everyone's faces. The feeling of bliss and excitement in the room was palpable. My internship taught me that we all learn best when we are able to express ourselves, play and when we feel connected to those around us. EPY has a way of making every person regardless of age, gender, shape, ability or identify feel supported in exploring yoga, art, movement and mindfulness techniques. I loved my experience so much that I decided to take on a yoga teacher role with EPY after finishing my internship. It has been a joy and an honor to work for this company and I would highly recommend the classes to families and children of all ages!

I was nervous as I'm new to yoga, I'm plus size, and I'd never done hot yoga at such a high temperature. But the instructor was incredibly helpful, kind, motivating, and knowledgeable. I pushed myself outside my comfort zone to try something new and I'm so glad I did. I felt very welcome and accepted.

I often visit the website just to peruse and plan my next class. There's many options for all physical levels. The classes are varied and affordable. Parking is a bit tight there if the class you are taking is a larger class. Both sides of the studio are well maintained with large mirrors which help with form if taking a dancing class. In between is a souk where costumes, zils, and other various items are. Many made local and by hand can be found. If your looking for a new and different skill or way to improve your body this place is worth looking into. Everyone is supportive and all skill levels are encouraged and honored there. Good for all ages all body types. No one type of person is ever in a class. It's all ages, all body types, and all inclusive and life affirming.
