I feel like I do two hours of work within a 50 -ish minute class. I typically don't get sore muscles after yoga, accept for after sessions here, the next day I feel as if I just spent hours lifting at the gym. The instructors are always very kind and welcoming, some even remember me when I haven't been there for a couple months which is amazing. The space is clean and inviting. A couple spots to fill up your water before class. The class space is very large and has wall-to-wall tatami mats. There are plenty of blocks and straps to use. Blocks are cleaned/sprayed after each use and left to dry out individually, not stacked again immediately while damp, which I appreciate. I always feel like I get a good workout here. I bring my mat and towel and I'm soaked and sweaty by the end of every class. It's nice to take a true hot yoga class and get all the toxins out! It also feels like a very non-judgmental environment. Very hippie down-to-earth vibe, unlike those gen z 'white and and black with a neon sign and lulu lemon' studio aesthetics that are commonplace elsewhere. Thank you, Wild Light!!

I left there each time feeling mentally, spiritually and physically balanced and lit up! I could never quite keep up with the teachers but they never required any level of ability & I just did what I could. They have a very calming & reverent feel to the class, very much inspiring me toward self-improvement in all areas of life. The only reason I didn't give Yoga West 5 stars is that they started getting kinda pushy with me, trying to pressure me into joining their religion. It was actually really surprising to me that such inspiring people would be trying to push a religion. I respect their practice very much, but pressuring people to practice it with them seems so far from their style, I just didn't get it. Welcoming anyone who shows interest in one's religion is beautiful but a pushy and assuming attitude just doesn't seem befitting of one who carries themselves as a teacher of truly self-enriching practices. It started feeling uncomfortable & so I stopped going. Unfortunate, since as I mentioned the actual yoga classes were amazing and I would have loved to continue striving to be able to keep up with these people! But at any rate, I'll always remember these classes and teachers and carry that inspiration with me.
