The tech…read morewho drew my blood was kind and gave me great advice to make it easier on myself going forward. Because of this, I came back months later with my then 4 year old and had a TERRIBLE experience with a tech and her "manager/lead tech" It was my child's first time getting blood work and was understandably scared. I had him on my lap and calm. The first tech stuck him and started to move the needle around in his arm and couldn't get blood which of course led to him screaming in agony. She attempted again on his other arm and wasn't successful and again moved the needle around and said to him "I'm not touching you" in a very annoyed tone when she left the needle in his arm while looking for a bigger gauge. At this time he was red, sweating, kicking and screaming while I'm holding him down. The head tech then came over to assist and used the larger gauge and also moved the needle back and forth. At this point I yelled that this was enough and that we needed to stop as he was crying and screaming to the point of exhaustion I was told by this manager that I need to ensure he's well hydrated going forward as it's my fault meanwhile my child drinks water all day every single day. Will not be returning to this location and would never recommend a child getting blood work done here and they do not have the skills to handle children and get annoyed at them easily.

The two women working at this location on 10/17/2024 at 10:15 AM need to be fired. They go between…read morepatients and do not wash their hands. When asked to wash hands between patients the first woman went to the bathroom and ran the water without actually washing her hands. When called out on it she refused to wash her hands at the sink that was directly in front of me. The other woman stepped in and tried to just run water over her hands instead of using soap. Again, I called her out and she half heartedly ran some soap over her fingertips. These 2 women do not care about the health and safety of their patients and are creating huge liabilities for their parent company. God forbid there is cross contamination from their lack of hygiene. Someone could face serious infection or other issues. If anything happens to me Labcorp is facing a major lawsuit.

There was only two ladies in the office which one was the phlebotomist. It took me three tries to be able to get their machine to work. A woman came in after me went to the kiosk and was able to check in on a separate machine that worked. She was then put ahead of me. I was lucky it wasn't busy when I was there. Once I finish with the kiosk someone came from the back and called my name and I had to go confirm all the information that they have at a side desk which seemed redundant. Another's thing that bothered me was the kiosk was dirty and each person has to touch it which means it's loaded with germs and if a person is sick, you have a higher chance of catching what they have. A woman by the name of Sharon who was a phlebotomist did a wonderful job taking my blood. She was very nice, and professional. I didn't feel her taking my blood, and usually have problems with my veins not this time. Sharon was quick and precise. I'm disappointed in the attitude that the office has. It seems like they don't like being there. They don't smile, and they seem like they can't wait to leave. Having a good attitude helps in keeping people who need testing calm and relaxed. There is a large waiting room, but with only two ladies in the office I can see a potential backup happening. You can park on the street, and their are some spots available in the lot. Quite a few are designated for other companies. There is only one handicapped spot for the entire building which is loaded with many businesses. When you walk in make sure you take the first elevator on the right to the first floor. You're coming in on the basement floor. You will then go to Suite 102. This place can get really really busy! You can go online and make a reservation, but you'll still have to check in with the kiosk. This place could be really good if they got these ladies more help!

Unfortunately Lab Corp's set up to book appointments doesn't take this into account and do my appt was 2 hrs, not 15 min. This put strain on not only the wonderful person who provided my care and took the time to enter all of the tests in right but also her other colleague, and all the other patients there. I felt terrible. A man and a woman who were waiting a long time were pounding on the door and once the person helping me opened the door, they berated her for more than 5 min, yet she never lost her cool. She also worked thru her lunch break. Both of the lovely, professional ladies working here deserve a raise! Total professionals & class acts!

Aside from the wait, the experience was great. I hate needles but I had a really good tech who made it almost painless...I say almost because I'm still a big baby.
