I wish I had read the reviews before having my car serviced here. I brought it in for leaking oil and a check engine light and one month of it being at the shop and $4100.00 later, it continues to leak a lot of oil. -My concerns as supported by EA paperwork are: oil leak, check engine light. -I had called several times throughout the month for an update as this is my only vehicle and is necessary for my work. My car was kept for two days short of a month at EA. -they did additional work (water pump) unrelated to the oil leak that I did not approve of yet still charged me 1800.00 for it. -I called and expressed that I did not want the water pump repaired and was told that this was already in the works. I shared that I did not approve this. they said to bad. - when my car was finally done they didn't inform me. Said they texted days ago but never did. -my engine light came on 10 min after picking car up. Called and Collin basically said too bad That wasn't covered under what I paid for. Took my Porsche convertable there for electrical issues and they clearly broke the arms on the convertable top as they forced it open. Porsche Pittsburgh verified the damage these idiots did by forcing the top open to clean out some water drain plugs. Then when I called them the punk on the desk phone was so ignorant I contemplated driving there and cracking him upside his head. And to boot they had my vehicle way longer than they said they would. Took My Car to Autoworx in Monroeville for a 1pm appointment on Friday because supposedly they are the only people who can run a complete Jaguar diagnostic other than Jaguar. Dropped off my car, grabbed lunch, came back to find it parked behind the building. Front desk guy: "Oh that was just for DROP-OFF, we might look at it Monday... maybe." Me: "Sir, this makes about as much sense as a screen door on a submarine- ya'll aren't even open over the weekend why would i be dropping my car off at this time if it wasnt for the purpose of being looked at TODAY." Suddenly they "managed" to find time that same day. While waiting, I'm eavesdropping on another customer who's HEATED because they charged him for coolant with his thermostat service - a repair that happened right after another recent service. The shop's explanation? "We don't know why your car didn't have any coolant and we can't take responsibility, but good news - it's passing the pressure test!" RED FLAG ALERT: This dude's car mysteriously had NO coolant after being serviced there, needed a thermostat replacement (which i imagine happens when the engines overheats from... wait for it... NO COOLANT! Classic move from the automotive scam playbook - sabotage the car during service, then charge you to fix the "problems" they created. Got my car back with a "broken thermostat" diagnosis which was news to me because i only service my car at Jaguar and they aint never said that before... Also, my damn battery light cones on because it was dying when I left the shop but I didnt trip just drive home to recharge it. Monday after: Coolant light comes on. Checked the reservoir and found...ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. My car is drier than the Sahara Desert! So I call them asking questions and basically looking for some accountability and to no surprise front desk got me all the way messed up! I took my vehicle here for extensive work. I needed a new turbo and control arm. The staff was very informative and professional. The work was done in a timely manner, and the quality matched that of the dealership. I'm actually surprised by the number of negative reviews. Prior to my service, I was shopping around, and before I was a customer, they were very attentive to my questions and extremely helpful. I would certainly take my vehicle here again. read more

MY RATINGS: 0 stars 5 level Clown Show 5 level Sh*t Show 5 level Lying Fuc*s Do yourself a favor and don't ever take your car here for service. The owner's an ahole POS. Other reasons noted below. These clowns had my vehicle for 6 weeks. Two of the issues they never fixed but charged me hundreds for! 1.) license plate tag lights wouldn't light and I told them it wasn't the bulbs, which I already replaced, so it's likely an electrical issue. 2.) the truck wouldn't open with key remote. I told them it might be the actuator, but it might also be electrical. Common sense would lead to a potential electrical problem for both issues as they are both in the truck. However, they just installed new tag light bulbs and a new actuator which didn't fix either issue. The owner finally calls me on week 6, after they already told me during the 5th week that my vehicle repairs would be completed on 3 different occasions over the period of that week and the following week. The owner clown then tells me it must be an electrical issue (duh!) and the car now needs some kind of electrical module, but he couldn't even tell me the price. I told him I was sick of the lies and him now telling me what should have been determined weeks ago before they just simply replaced the bulbs and trunk actuator before even determining the underlying root cause of the problems, which was electrical (duh!) They just replaced the tag light bulbs and replaced the actuator without even testing the existing actuator or troubleshooting the electrical issue until the 6th week! Then the clown owner then basically tells me to F off after I called him out for his BS! Then the clown tells me to come get my car at noon and never come back. I go to pick up my car from these aholes and it's not even there!!! I had to wait an hour until they drove my car from some other clown show sister shop across town, completely unknown to me! Oh, and now the AC doesn't work and it worked perfectly fine when I dropped the car off! !! WARNING !! DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR REPAIRS! EVERY WORD ABOVE IS THE 100% TRUTH! I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND AM ALSO CONSIDERING LEGAL ACTION. read more

I took my car here (Audi Q5 2016) to European Autoworx for repairs back in August 2025, and while the staff was friendly, my experience was very frustrating at the end. My car was in the shop for nearly 2 months, which included a month waiting for a part to come from overseas, which I understand is not their fault. However, the first month was spent just waiting for a technician who was available to take a look at it and start searching for the problem. After all the repairs were complete (again took around 2 months total to get finished)and with around $6,800 spent, I was disappointed to find that the initial issue with my car was still present after just one day of driving it. I appreciate the customer service, I believe the guy at the front desk was Collin and he was always very courteous and kind when taking my calls. However, at the end of the day they didn't get my car fixed after all that time and money spent. I probably would've been better off taking my car to the dealer. read more

European Autoworx Monroeville did $4,000+ work on my 2016 Forster subaru. They had my vehicle for 3wks I Took car for inspection. Inspection failed and was advised to take it back to European because your transmission monitors are not set. On Dec. 24, 2024 Christmas Eve, (10:45am) 1 amicably spoke with Tim, manager about my concerns and without any provocation from me, Tim (SURPRISINGLY) addressed me in cursing language with a really bullying threateningly attitude. I asked please dont curse and why. He than called me BITCH and said if I were a man he would kick my ass out of his shop. I asked why you treating me like this and I reminded Tim that his behavior is On shop's security camera, he continued with his harassment and berating. Yes I am undeservingly upset, nervous, BP went up and depressed after that terrible experience. No One Should Be Treated as such. European Autoworxs will take your cash, but will not own up to mistakes, errors or damages that they've done to your vehicle while fixting. These guys are a joke! Brought my vehicle in for just an emission test and they claimed i was only trying to scam the system! The tech stated he was surprised my vehicle passed emissions and made me feel horrible!!! I will never go back there!! Why would someone that doesn't even know me, make such a faulty claim??? I think PA needs to visit this business and find out why there are now so many complaints against this shop!!! read more

This place is a joke. I taken my vehicle here to get a wire issue resolved avoiding taking my vehicle to the Range Rover dealership. These guys had my vehicle for three weeks claiming there is a programing issue. after three weeks of excuses i picked up my vehicle and taken it to the dealer who repaired the issue within 2 hrs. I've been doing some modifications to my Golf for the track so I needed a competent shop and for the last several months I haven't been disappointed with any of the work done here. From front brake system and rotor upgrades, sway bar, routine maintenance, track day preparations and more. Dan is very knowledge and very easy to work with. I spent $3200.00 over three visits only to be told they couldn't get the engine light to go off. i was told that Dan was an excellent mechanic. Upon my second visit to see if they could fix the problem I was told Dan was no longer employed and there was a whole new staff and for an additional $2000.00 they would resolve the problem. For years I took my vehicles to European Autoworx and to the previous owner John. Great service from John when it was Quality, relatively good service when was first European. Now they must be in parts business. Took my vehicle in for inspection and told I needed brakes, rotors and 2 tires. First it is an all wheel vehicle and should never get just 2 tires. Did not get work done. Took to Honda dealer to find out I did not need any of the three. Be aware and get a second opinion if being told you need things replaced. Always enjoyed Karen but do kit trust technicians who were rude about me getting someone else to look at it. read more

I brought my car here recently for an oil change and to get a bushing fixed and Paul was very professional all the way through the process. Nowadays, a lot of people don't get back to you but Paul was diligent about getting back to me and getting me in for the service I needed. I felt the price I paid for both services was fair as I would have been charged far more had I gone to a dealership. Should I need work done on my car again, I'll return here. read more

I have taken my card down a few times for routine maintenance, inspection, emissions and oil changes. They are always easy to schedule and complete everything in a timely manner. Pricing seems reasonable for foreign cars as well. Would definitely recommend. read more

GO ANYWHERE ELSE...ANYWHERE.. My motor seized up due to a faulty oil change elsewhere so they hired Paul and his shop on 286 in Plum to replace the motor. It took 2 months of constant back and forth for them to even get the motor they promised and then other 2 weeks to put it in once they had it. Finally had to send it to Volvo to do it correctly. The point of having a car repaired by a foreign "specialist" and paying $6,000 for a USED motor is to get it back ready to roll right?? Upon pickup, I was told (and shown how to) "burp" the engine coolant if I got Low coolant warning light? That light came on as soon as I pulled out so I pulled right back in. Well the first week on the road a radiator hose just popped off (probably where the air was coming from in the first place) and I paid for a tow back to their shop (not reimbursed as Paul was sure didn't touch the radiator putting a new motor in...more Ex car salesman BS). Coolant was filled and gave me extra in case it still needed some, which it did. The next week the main Air Intake Hose going to the motor just pops off as I'm driving in Sharon, PA this time. Luckily, I know a little about cars and could see the lack luster job they did putting the hose on and tightening the O clamp. They use flatheads at the shop because they "cost so much" I was told by the mechanic instead of nut drivers. Sure, we'll reconnected and engine finally running normal. 1 week later and noticed a sound from the front end getting worse and worse. Took it back to the shop and determined it is a MOTOR MOUNT (that they had to disconnect and reconnect for the "new" motor) and a TRANNY MOUNT are bad. I was told these must have been fine 3 weeks ago when they swapped engines and now I would have to pay to have them replaced. Picked up my car and I will take it elsewhere before they get any money from me. Just wishing the oil change shop would have picked a professional garage instead of an old used car salesman trying to transition to service that he knows nothing about. KEEP IT MOVING... read more

We had our car in there to have the oil changed and knew we would need tires soon. Paul suggested also having the brakes done because they were close and would need to be done before winter. So we were able to get it in the next weekend to have tires replaced and brakes done. We are very happy with the work that was done. I didn't feel like I was going to be taken advantage of, which is very important to me. I felt like this place will treat my car like their own and not suggest unnecessary work to charge me more. They even allowed the use of their loaner car for the day so I didn't have to sit there and wait while they worked on my car. read more
