If you get a chance do not miss playing this course. Bring plenty of ammunition however because if the wind is blowing off the Irish Sea this course is as challenging as it gets. The designer, Pat Ruddy, is a genius when it comes to course design. You need to really think your way around this course. If you are used to playing parkland courses where you blast away, forget it on this course. The first rule is keeping it in the fairway because if you don't, the ball is history. The holes along the water are simply spectacular. Greens are in top flight condition with some unique features (at least from my perspective) such as having a small bunker in once portion of the green. As you can imagine, the approach shot is key here. The club house is small and functional. After the round best to head back towards Dublin for a pint since the club house amenities are limited.
