After a meeting at our condo to measure, suggest options and prepare a quote we decided to move forward with the remodel. Barry is the owner and does the building and installs himself - is very professional, conscientious and extremely accommodating. In the world today, it is sometimes difficult to find a contractor who you feel comfortable with and are pleased when all is done. East Coast Kitchen & Bath is certainly the place to start your remodel needs. We had a few very minor bumps during the process of both kitchen and bath through no fault of Barry, but he quickly addressed and cured them. When I said I would not come in unless she put on a mask, she finally put one on -- with a lot of bad attitude. After less than 3 minutes in the store with her hovering 2-3 feet away from me, I noticed that her mask did not cover her nose. I asked her to cover her nose and she refused. I immediately left. Due to the very bad attitude of the sales associate, I took my business to other designer plumber stores in Stuart & Jupiter.

It is a crazy time in the Construction industry but when things slow down, and they will, it is places like this that will wish they had handled customers, especially designers like myself, differently. They took the information down and said someone would call me. Two weeks later, no call so I went back and the lady found my form and said someone would call. A week later someone came out and took measurements and said they'd have me a design within two weeks. So I called last week after 3 weeks had passed and was told Ricky Catapano the construction manager would need to come out. They were waiting on blueprints from the county. This was news to me as I said I have the blueprints from original design and could email them to you and could have given that to you 3 weeks but you came and measured. So he said Ricky would come out the next week. You guessed it. No one last week. Now it is Thursday 3/24 and I called Ricky directly. Mr Catapano told me he didn't even know what I was talking about. I said- look, are you telling me you don't have time to put together a quote for a 70-80k remodel and I've been waiting since February 4th? He said- sorry, we're too busy. So now I will search again and have wasted 6 weeks from this unprofessional business who should have never sent someone to my house in the first place. But my fault, if you have to try 3 times to get someone just to show up, you shouldn't be using them. I had liked their showroom and wanted to do something similar but there will definitely be better options.

Ricky and James are both fine carpenters and listened to my input. They have been well to work with and reasonably competitive. Jeff does hold a Florida GC license.
