    Finished suit!
    Brian B.

I had a suit custom made through www.ownonly.com and needed to get it tailored to fit me for my wedding (I lost about 20 lbs after ordering the suit). I took it to another tailor in Abington who told me the jacket was fine, but the pants and vest needed to be taken in and that it would take a week. After about a week and a half, having heard nothing from them, I stopped in to find the suit had been ready for days (but the tailor wasn't in the shop that day). I tried it on quickly and was a little skeptical, but it wasn't until I put the jacket on in front of my future mother in law that I realized it was way too big (and that the pants still needed a lot of work). At this point I was about a week and a half out from the wedding, smack-dab in the middle of prom season to boot. I did some searching online and came across Steve's shop, European Tailor. The reviews looked great, so I gave him a call. He answered, listened to my sob story and told me in a thick Greek accent to come to his shop immediately. THIS was the tailor experience I'd been looking for. He had me try the suit on and started pinching fabric here, pinning it there, showing me different profiles, explaining the process and giving honest feedback about the quality and cut of the suit (and the apparently shoddy alterations I'd just paid for elsewhere). He actually seemed legitimately upset that someone had done such a bad job and charged money for it. He told me right away that the jacket and pants needed to be taken in quite a bit still. He put us right at ease by telling us confidently he could do the work, keep the price down, and have it ready in plenty of time. A few days later he called me and I went to the shop. True to his word, the suit was perfect! Night and day. Obviously a HUGE relief. As a special bonus, he gave me a custom-made pocket square to match my tie and wouldn't accept any money for it. Class act all the way, and my bride was thrilled. One word of advice - the shop is CASH ONLY, so make sure you've got it on hand or you'll be running to the BB&T on the corner. Thanks Steve!

Stavaros is by far the best tailor around & his prices are very reasonable. Wouldn't take my gear any where else.

Friendly, personal service. Great rates and was able to turn around a new suit in less than 4 hours. I won't go anywhere else.

I would not recommend this dry cleaner. I brought my down jacket for cleaning, it is an expensive,…read morebranded jacket that clearly states it should be cleaned by a professional garment cleaning service. After I picked it up, the jacket was stretched out and no longer fit properly. When I tried to discuss the issue, the manager was rude, refused to listen, and made no attempt to resolve the problem or take responsibility. I have cleaned similar down jackets at other dry cleaners in a different state with excellent results. Branded jackets always come with proper care instructions, which were clearly not followed here. Very disappointing experience.

WARNING: Horrible Prom Dress Alterations!!!…read more I took my daughter's one-of-a-kind prom dress to Center Square Cleaners by accident and it was a horrible mistake. I thought CSC was Sarah Dressmaker but they are clearly not and they are inept at formal dress alterations, not to mention, they are egregiously overpriced. FIRST VISIT: I entered CSC thinking it was Sarah Dressmaker. It wasn't until my daughter had her dress on and the safety pins were marking the required alteration that I inquired about the business name. The woman told me Sarah Dressmaker was located behind CSC but assured me that she does many formal gown and prom dress alterations. My daughter's dress had one opaque layer and three layers of sheer tulle that required hemming. Total cost: $175. I was shocked at the price for this alteration but I thought that was the going rate. It wasn't until I called Sarah Dressmaker on the way home and asked her for a price to hem a four layer prom dress...her cost was between $60-100. SECOND VISIT: I returned to CSC one week later to pick up the dress. I wanted to be sure the hem was perfect before I left so I had my daughter try the dress on. I was horrified to see so many jagged, uneven edges that looked like a child cut the dress. The woman took a pair of scissors to the tulle in an attempt to correct the mess. There was also white chalk on the tulle that was never removed. I was told that they would fix the dress if I could leave it overnight. Before leaving, I inquired about the exorbitant cost for what was a extremely sub-par alteration. The owner said her prices are her prices and she doesn't price according to other cleaners. I asked two other cleaners in the area what they would charge for the same alteration and the highest price was $120. I asked the owner if she would reduce the price since I had to come back multiple times but she refused. Instead, she offered to make my daughter a mask using the extra material that was cut from the dress. She said she would only charge me $10 for this mask - this was supposed to be a significantly discount - but she failed to realized that there was a sign hanging in her store advertising custom special masks for $10. THIRD VISIT: I returned the following day to pick up the dress without my daughter. I was told everything was perfect but once I got home I noticed more jagged edges. I will never return to CSC!!!
