I have been going to this location since 2013, and absolutely love it. Customer service and quality is of upmost priority to this and many of the other locations I have gone too. I have gone through various Waxers as well and all of them are great! I gave honestly never had a complaint about this location in regards to that. What is unfortunate is the as a corporation they have ben increasing the prices every year. I have and am a student and even the student prices are now what the regular prices used to be back in 2013, if it wasn't for their quality control I wouldnt have been coming back. I've been getting waxed for a long time and NEVER have I not been able to touch myself AFTER! It hurts to clean and wipe two days later! I must say, everyone from the young ladies at the front desk to my waxer Hilary was great. They were very kind, great personality, made me very comfortable the entire visit. Because it was my first visit, my service was free and tipped generously as it was deserved. The only thing I noticed when I got home was, there was a bit of a rush job. All of the wax wasn't taken off and the area wasn't completely cleaned up, it wasn't the best feeling either. Luckily I was able to take care of it, pain free. I recently went to this location the past weekend and Seliyah took care of me. This was my first time getting a Brazilian wax. I didn't really know what to expect so I went in pretty open minded but even my low expectations were not met at all honestly. My appointment was at 1:45 and I was on time so I was not late or anything to start off with. The reason I mention the time is because I'm not sure if maybe she had been really booked or tired or something to affect her performance, I'll give her the benefit of the doubt, although she did say she had been doing this for three years.. which makes me question a bit. But anyways, when I got there the front desk lady was okay she greeted me and already knew who I was but nothing really welcoming. She actually put her headphones in when I finally checked in and sat down. Finally Seliyah called me back and I went back and she wasn't talkative at all which I understand it's not a time to where she can talk a lot but all she said was hi and that was pretty much it. Keep in mind this is my first time getting a Brazilian wax so I don't know what to do really, she then tells me to undress so I do. She told me to get into I think the butterfly position, and I had to tell her then that this was my first time and even after that she still didn't change the way she approached me. I don't expect her to baby her customers, but I do expect a little bit of explanation or instructions when the process is happening. Not only did she not talk to me or tell me any informative information, the wax was way too hot. This was my first time but I know for a fact it shouldn't have been that hot. She didn't give me a heads up of what she was doing or when she was doing it she just started putting the wax on me without talking. After dealing with the hot wax I finally mention it's a little warm and she says that she'll turn it down but nothing changes lol. I also went in with pretty long hair I feel like, and I'm not sure if maybe she should've trimmed it before hand to make it easier to wax but she didn't so there's that. On top of that, after she was done she didn't really tell me advice or instructions as how to take care of it and just said alright you're all set. When I got home there was still visible hair left in places that it shouldn't have been. Meaning they were very accessible places for her to get to and I'm not sure how she missed it. The next day I had bumps due to irritation maybe, but I wore loose clothing that day and all day after, I didn't go into any pools or hot water nor did I partake in any activities. Maybe it was just bound to happen but I'm not sure, I wouldn't know because she didn't tell me what to expect or not to. At this point I minus well have just shaved and got razor bumps on my own, because this is ridiculous honestly. On top of all this, there was still wax left in some crevices. Meaning she didn't clean me up one bit. Lastly, I was sore not sensitive but sore because of how hard she had to pull the wax with the length of my hair I'm pretty sure. So much for a good experience. I'm not saying this location is all around terrible but maybe avoid this employee. But that's all, go at your own discretion. Why do you need to know where I live to pull hair out of my body? WOW! What a well run store! This might be the cleanest, friendliest, most welcoming European Wax Center I've ever been to. Upon arrival, I was greeted by two lovely ladies who got me checked in for my reservation. About 20 seconds later I was taken back for my reservation (never been taken back so quickly) and my wax specialist Brenda was amazing!! The manager, Dominique came out and introduced herself and asked me how my service was and chatted with me about upcoming holiday plans which was refreshing. Absolutely great experience. Got a Brazilian which can be quiet and awkward one do get done, well anything getting taken care of down there can be. My girl was great. Got an appointment same day. This was my first time ever at EWC so they gave me half off my service, usually when places discount a lot it ends up not being a very good service but this was absolutely great. My girl like I said early was great, she kept it very professional while helping it not be so awkward and she did it quickly and it wasn't too painful. Obviously Brazilians are kinda painful. So I've been here twice and I had "meh" experiences both times. Everyone is really nice but as far as my experiences during waxing were the worst I've ever had in my life. I had Alex both times and she was sooooo nice but holy cow, most painful waxings I've ever had. First time was a Brazilian. As an esthetician I know proper procedure and ways to make it less painful for your client and she did not even try to make it less painful for me BUT 0 hairs were left so I figured whatever. I went in about a week ago to half my lower legs waxed and again she did nothing to try and make the process less painful, she rushed me in and out of there forgetting to clean my legs and protect them and I left with my legs still extremely hairy.
