Don't waste your time or money coming here. My son had an appointment to get his full face waxed. I waited over 35 minutes in the waiting room and they finally come out and she said how his hair was too thick and she couldn't get the hair off she said The pieces she tried were starting to bleed so to try again in 5 days. The test pieces on his face were red with blood dots and he still had hair and his face looked the same as when we walked in. I was still charged for the full face when all the worker did was his eyebrows. Went for a brazilian wax... I thought it went well but when I checked, saw a lot of hair left, the tech did not even try to clean manually using a tweezer. The tech said that I was dehydrated thats why the hair is dry that caused for it to break. read more

Which I said was fine , well as I am inside she says she can't take me in until 2:15pm. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Marla started being rude trying to talk for the receptionist who I had already spoken to and said I had to come back at another time because apparently I didn't meet the 9 minute grace period which I did and the receptionist had already told me she'd be able to have me in at 1pm while I was parking outside on the phone with her.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I am very irritated at this inconvenience because keep in mind this is my home location and I have been a customer for years.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's not my first time scheduling and I know the time for the grace period which I was still meeting. I recently had a wax done at Matthews, NC location. The waxer was none too gentle and left me with a large and painful skin tear in a less than ideal location. I consider EWC to be, for the most part, professional, clean, neat and organized. I am a male and I appreciate European Wax Center waxing man, though I do believe that every waxer should have to wax both male and female; because it is discrimination to not provide service just because of a gender. My first Brazilian wax experience was with someone who owned a small business & was not great. she used honey wax throughout the entire process which was painful & charged $90. When I first came here, I booked because the pricing was much better but my expectations were the same regarding the wax. Marlana is extremely professional & made me feel as comfortable as you could possibly feel spreading you legs wide open for a stranger lol Not only is the price soooo much more reasonable and affordable but she uses hard wax that is so much more tolerable and relatively painless! Absolutely loved my experience at the European wax center ! I came to the location in Redlands last minute and I typically get quite a lot of services, but they accommodated me by breaking my appointment up in 2 sessions as a walk-in ! I was so grateful they didn't appointment shame me lol . I had Marlana for under arms and Brazilian and I HAVE NEVER BEEN WAXED so thoroughly and quickly! 10/10 to this wonderful girl ! She made me feel so comfortable and was both gentle and amicable! Great conversationalist ! I came back later in the day and had Daniela 10/10 to her as well !!! She was also very communicative, a great conversationalist ( which makes the time go by quick ) and educated me about proper exfoliation. This excellent review is for Mindy Lee - she is a great aesthetician. She is very friendly, efficient yet thorough, and checks on your well being throughout the process. I felt comfortable (as much as I could haha) during the session. I have booked with her several times and am sad that I need to find a new aesthetician closer to me. If that doesn't work out, Mindy Lee would be worth the drive. This was my very first time to this waxing place. I was a bit skeptical at first because I've never been waxed anywhere else besides my regular lady. But I was with Rosie today for a full arm wax and a Brazilian wax. I was amazed by their comfort wax. It was very comfortable and not as messy as traditional wax. Well it was my first Brazilian and I have to say, I'll never do it again. I'm good with pain but this was another pain and annoying. I hated the position you get put in with butterfly legs during the process, it is uncomfortable. I was left with a lot of hairs left over, I have a burn from the wax on my butt too unfortunately. Which I couldn't say anything about how hot the wax was because she already put a big glob of it on before I could say it's too hot. She said it was normal for there to be hair left the first time but, my razor honestly does a way better job. Although, I thought my waxer was nice, I won't be returning. The operations of this location is terrible! My appointment was at 2 today and I showed up on time. They were slammed in the lobby and I waited patiently on the seat next to the desk. No one talked to me, said hi or tried to Check me in. After I got up and started looking at products someone saw me and asked about me. She then said ohhhh it's now 2:15 and we have a 9min grace .... I told them I've been here for a long time, the receptions had no people skills and told me to come Back at 3:15 she did nothing to help me. Customer service is un known to them. It took calling back and waiting 20 min on the phone to deal with the manager...who still didn't acknowledge my wait... she said their is nothing they can do but make another appointment and not offer a discount.
