Cons: I have a complicated relationship with European wax center. I had a bad experience years ago at another location. I finally started coming back to this Bixby location they built closer to my house. This was my 3rd visit at the Bixby location. I had a bad customer service experience. I did not complain to the manager. But she heard about it, called to apologize, and she made it right. Pros: I will definitely be coming back here. I like the services I get (waxing and tinting). They do a really good job with my eyebrows. Much better than other places I've been going to. Clean. The customer service is typically very good. Scheduling is easy and convenient. read more

I booked last minute because i didn't know if I would have time before going to work amd alsoni didn't realize they closwd at 6pm. So ultimately i made a 545 appt. I didn't pick esthetician because although I've been to EWC I've never been to this location. I was paired with Cheyenne and she was AWSOME! I was a little anxious because who wouldn't be when getting a Brazilian... Plus it had been a couple of months since my last appt but pain was minimal and she was super quick and very personable. I highly recommend her if you're looking for a person at the 101st & Memorial location. Receptionist was nice and explained current promotions very well and even told me about the frontline workers deal that they had going on which I will probably purchase my next visit. I have been going to EWC for years. I started in Illinois which is my home state and HATED to leave my wax specialist. Nonetheless, this has been my location since moving to Tulsa 2 years ago. I will say the staff members are always very friendly and thankfully I have never had a bad experience. The only thing I wish they stop doing is trying to sell products and packages specifically to those that have been long time members. We already know what we need. EWC has evolved from a warm welcoming environment into an environment of pushy sales people. I don't like to be pushed to book my next appointment before I leave because I book according to a number of things and it does no good to get an appointment that I likely will have to turn around and reschedule. I am also on my third wax specialist at this location. Every time I have gotten comfortable with someone here, they leave. I still would recommend if you've never been waxed to try it because it's a game changer. read more

Went in for a full leg wax right before 4th of July holiday. She missed so many patches on the front and back of my knees, calves and upper thighs. Only did one strip throughout, no touch ups. Called after the holiday weekend, the manager demanded i came in that day or i wouldn't be able to get it fixed. Wouldn't recommend going here. Every time you find a specialist you like they leave. Used a gift card, only place I've ever been that you cant use a gift card towards gratuity .. Went to get a Brazilian for the "half off first wax" and what they don't tell you is you is not only are you paying for the wax but must also get the pointless after care body polish and wash for a whopping $64. With my $10 off and my half off wax my total was $93! Then not only that but the front desk lady made everything confusing by checking multiple people in at once and continuously talking about the wax pass that "saves you money" and then signs you up for it without you knowing! And proceeds to charge my card another $99 without me knowing and without agreeing to anything. Called the number and it took me to the call center where they told me a manager would contact me in 48 hours but when I called back they magically got me on the line with a manager. Currently waiting on my refund that's supposed to take 3-5 days to return in my account. Also a $93 wax that leaves a ton of hair behind. read more

Info you should know about me: I was epilating up to a week before this appt. I have had laser hair removal, series of 7 I have a high pain threshold My hair now gnarls under the skin and turn into an impacted hair since laser I have thick hair I had a fantastic waxer who was willing to go the extra mile to get as much from the surface as possible with wax. She still went to grab the tweezers and try to relieve the impacted hairs and blackheads( from shaving) that sit at the skin level. I have lots redness but that's just my skin. It has been a few days and my skin is starting to settle down more since. I will give it two weeks to see how much comes back. Underarms grow in a whirl not a vertical or horizontal growth pattern so it's difficult to get perfection on the first visit. After 4/5 visits I should be in a must more aesthetic happy place. I will not be showing the initial results until we get to the happy place. It's for both of our peace of mind, trust me. I'm a wookie read more

The salon is really nice. Everyone is very nice. I got a Brazilian here and don't get me wrong it had been a while since my last wax so it was pretty thick but there are full patches of hair that she missed. I will have to go over with a razor which really defeats the whole purpose of a wax. This is Tulsa's newest and second EWC location. I absolutely love it. I have had nothing but great experiences. They are very clean, modern and professional so I always recommend them to my friends. They use hard beeswax instead of strips so it's less painful and doesn't stick to the skin nor irritates it. It is SO easy to make appointments through their app or website and you can even choose what person to see. Stacy is my absolute favorite. She's great! She does a clean and amazing job plus she doesn't make you feel weird at all. I will trust no one else but her to wax my lady goods! Kidding... I'm sure there are other girls there that are great too but I'll try to stick with her. The girls at the front desk are nice and friendly, welcoming you and checking you in. As far as prices, I think they're reasonable for the quality you get. Even if it verges on pricey, it's totally worth it, especially if you purchase their "wax packages". They also sell some products, including the ones they use during the appointment. I would say their serum and exfoliator are a must. My first visit here was with Hazzie (sorry if I spelt that wrong) and she was great!! She did a Brazilian wax for me and it was my first time EVER getting anything waxed down there, safe to say I was terrified! She was so great!! Walked me through the waxing, was gentle and very sweet. Today I had my second Brazilian waxing 6 weeks after my first one and I got my appointment wrong and they were actually able to get me in within a minute (not even joking). I didn't have the person I went to the first time so I saw Mary! She was also so sweet and gentle!! I don't know if I have a really high pain tolerance and don't get hurt by getting a Brazilian or they are just so good at their job!! Either way I definitely recommend this place for a Brazilian especially if it's your first one!! read more

I'm posting this on behalf of my mom. She made a last minute appointment to get her brows waxed before a IMPORTANT interview. Needless to say whoever did her eyebrows should not be waxing ANYONE. not sure how you really could mess this up???? The lady that waxed her eyebrows has NO skill and obviously doesn't have a clue how to shape brows correctly. Not sure if she was in a hurry, but this is unacceptable. She has a personality that is calm and knows what she is doing and makes you feel comfortable, she has been waxing for years and it is clear. I have been waxed by many people. And I can easily say she is the best wax I have ever had. Usually waxers are confident but still tend to mess up and don't quite get all the hair in one pull. I like this place, it is clean and professional, but I CAN'T STAND how PUSHY they are! They insist that you purchase some wax pass to "save money" and they insist on booking your next appointment at check out to "earn more points". They do not want to take "no, thank you" for an answer. So freaking irritating. I prefer to book online because it is easy and you can get same day appointments. LADIES. Let me tell you. I got the full Brazilian by the lovely Lauren F. And, while it did sting a little, it was nothing like the horror stories I've heard in the past. Mrs. L assured me it's bevause they have a patented wax that protects your skin so they get all the hair. And this was my very first wax, so she was super nice and said she'd go from the outside in and she if I wanted to stop. She even consulted me and said that with my hair color and looks "down there" doing the line might actually be best. And she let me see myself in the mirror every step of the way, so I could gauge for myself. And, while I did end up getting the full brazzilian, I agree that the line looked best on me. So I know they're not going to take advantage and say the most expensive looks best. I would 100% recommend Lauren F. for all your waxing needs! read more

I went there for the first time yesterday and I felt very comfortable with Stacy. She is very nice and easy to talk too. But I have to say that walking into the store for the first time and get BOMBARDED with the products right away was a huge disappointment for me.
