I experienced immediate improvement in the areas I was working on, including changing my diet radically and maintaining it, detoxing from a pretty serious sugar addiction and other bad habits that aggravated my gastritis. I tell all my friends who complain about eating too much sugar (or who are dealing with anything addictive) to see Daniel for support. This is not Las Vegas style hypnosis. It's called hypnoTHERAPY for a reason...it's a different form of therapy that relaxes your mind enough to accept and reinforce positive suggestions that you determine in order to improve your life. I feel like the tools that Daniel has given me have made his role obsolete--after six initial sessions, i only need a "tune up" (or I find a new issue to work on) every few months. It's rare that you find a professional who takes the time to get to know you in your initial interview, makes you feel comfortable, and provides you with an alternative treatment that really works to help you change your life. I've used hypnotherapy for a variety of reasons with great success for most of a year now, and in conjunction with other therapies in my life (which I need less of now that I've done hypnotherapy, so it's even saving me money).

I first saw her because I was scheduled for a surgery and was feeling panic. She was so comfortable right off the bat, that it was easy to get right to work. She didn't use hypnosis in the way I assumed one did it: e.g. "visualize yourself calm at the hospital." As someone who used to believe "therapy didn't work on me," I went through 4 therapists before I…read moremet Bruce. I am someone who has difficulty sharing and being vulnerable in front of others, so it has been essential in my treatment that when I do share, I feel like I'm talking to a person. What frustrated me the most with my previous therapists was that they cultivated a clinician - patient environment, primarily incentivizing self-reflection via a multitude of questions designed to hold a mirror to the psyche. This works for many people, but it continuously failed to work for me. Bruce doesn't make me feel like a patient, rather he makes me feel like a friend. During our sessions, I don't feel like I'm talking to a doctor, or a living, breathing psychology textbook. Bruce makes me feel comfortable, whether that be through sharing beautiful stories from his own life, or making me laugh when I would've been prone to anger. I have made strides that I never thought were possible. I love Bruce and everything he has done for me. It's baffling that there aren't more reviews for this man.
