We were having a rough time during our reception due to a different vendor but with his non-stop party music and ability to hype our guests, none of our guests noticed the behind-the-scenes drama. Philip has an amazing energy and an incredibly fun personality. Philip was also very open to our guests requests and was quick to judge them against our "Do Not Play" list. As a fun aside, Philip is also an officiant, my cousin and bridesmaid realized, during our reception entrance line-up, that Philip was her officiant. My initial call was about a year in advance of our wedding with John Alexander and that went smoothly. I stressed how important the emceeing portion was to me and he ensured me that DJ Nick would be a great fit. I watched DJ Nick's intro videos and loved him so I proceeded with booking. I received an automated email in June that I'd be hearing from my DJ soon, but didn't so then followed up on June 22nd with no response. I then texted John June 25th. Again, no response. We were only 2.5 weeks away from the wedding and had a holiday weekend between so I sent another text the following day to follow up. Finally he responded and said my DJ would call me next week. My DJ did not call. I had to send him another text the following week letting him know my DJ did not call. I told him that instead of waiting on the call I booked a meeting on their online calendar. At that time he just sent me "DJ Khoa" with his telephone number and zero context. This is a week out from my wedding that he tells me we have a different DJ than we booked. it wasn't until I call him and say "What happend with DJ Nick?" that he tells me that Nick had some things come up. It just seems like the owner of a company should be a little more proactive in letting clients know about when an issue arises rather than having a client reach out 4 times and then finding out a week before her wedding that it's a different DJ with a completely different emceeing style. DJ Khoa did a fine job and it's no shade to him but it was not what i was looking for for my wedding. Overall i would avoid Eclipse at all costs and not do business with John Alexander.

Perry totally got me/us! He was easy to work with, he's fun in person, and he's just an all around…read moregood guy. He gives you a template to create a wedding timeline and provides you with a million examples so it's not confusing at all. He pulls every song you ask for, has others already up his sleeve for any crowd, and really knows how to keep the night going! I have a super Italian family, and he was able to crank out some songs to get them dancing, but he also played my alternative beats mixed in there. The up lighting that is included in his package gives the room this next level feel, and then he had a dancing light that I didn't know about which made the room feel like a club when party time was going on! He was able to get everyone on the dance floor, and I loved that he got us to do a huge group shot on the dance floor with us and all our guests. Call him, he's so easy to work with, and if you're a philly sports person, HE WILL HAVE YOU COVERED :) I do not know how me manages all the work he does, but his energy is 100% regardless of how many events he has that weekend. I got married on 10/6/18 - He had a Friday Wedding in NY, then me in Philadelphia Saturday, and then a Sunday wedding in SJ, and you would never know that he was back to back booked. Also, all his gear is super portable, so he was able to do my ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at an indoor/outdoor venue, and there was no delay in music between the three areas.
