Really happy with my haircut! I made an appointment by phone. Because it was my first time there I didn't really have a preference on who to cut my hair. I got Heidi and she was great! I am pretty clueless with hair style, I had a general idea of what I wanted but not super sure with the details. The instructor actually gave really good feedback on what would look good with my type of hair and face shape and my haircut looked way better than I thought it would! It did take longer than since it is a beauty school and they are still learning. But I paid $5 for a haircut and that's just a great deal!!! And I was super happy with the result. Oh and I'm not sure about this but I think their only method of payment is cash. read more

Wow. Unbelievable. I've had my hair cut at schools for the past 18 years. I know how it goes. I know when the student is great, good, so-so or just never going to be a hairstylist. I also know when the school itself is good or not. If the way my hair was cut and the method for everything was standard procedure here, good lord! If you're researching which school to go to, don't go here! If you're thinking of getting your cut here, the price is cheap because you're going to get a slop job of a shampoo and a half haircut. From the time I sat down in the chair, my student was in a rush. She barely had had the shampoo on when she started rinsing it off. On the second go-around, the water rinse never hit my left side. Her method of giving me a trim was to brush all the hair back and then cut the bottom. I have never seen this done. I had told her that I wanted my entire head checked as my hair is not all one length and I said this to the instructor, as well. They ignored me. When she had cut only half way across the back, she asked if I liked the length. Who does that?? I told her to finish to cutting, first. When she finished, she ran off to get the instructor since she was finished. Huh??? Never checked the top, never checked the sides. And when, in disbelief, I told her in front of the instructor that she wasn't finished, I was accused of "not communicating"! I told the instructor to take the plastic sheet off me. She didn't, so I got up went to the counter, and got my $ out. She came over and informed me that I couldn't leave with the sheet. I informed her that I had told her to take it off. She did at that point, leaving the thin white cloth wrapped around my neck, and I walked out with my head soaking wet and a half hair cut. Thank you for stealing my money. I wish the owner, the instructors and the female I got stuck with bad karma. And it will arrive! read more

They give great haircuts and make sure you are completely satisfied before leaving. If you leave not satisfied it's kinda your own fault for not speaking up. The girls are always very nice too! And a great price! Would recommend if your on a tight budget read more

I made appts for pedicures for my boyfriend and I, one of them was to be with a friend of mine. I called 2 1/2 weeks in advance to make sure that I got one of them with my friend and that we got a good time since we live an hour away. I was on the phone with girl for 10 minutes scheduling these because she didn't seem to know what she was doing (maybe a new student) but I repeated the information more than once to make sure it was right. Now we come in for our appointment and the girl at the front desk tells me that they only had one appointment for me scheduled and it was not with my friend. They called a supervisor and realized that the names were just wrote down wrong, however they overbooked the pedicures for the appointment time that we were scheduled for but they could get us in an hour later. We had to wait? When I made the appointments, I had a choice of times because they were open, now we have to wait after an hour drive. Yeah, they offered a free facial or scalp treatment, but I did not want to wait an hour. If was an isolated time, I could understand, but I had made an appointment just for a consultation with the owner to see if they could do something I wanted with my hair and when I got there, not only was I told that they didn't have me down for that but he wasn't even there! So I sat and waited for them to figure it out. The best part about that was the consultation was "scheduled" by the owners wife over they chat that they have available on their website. Most unorganized place for people who would like services done. There is no way I will go back to this place. I would give it zero stars if I could. read more

I have had my hair cut numerous times at Evans. I have had only positive experiences. The price is very reasonable.

I got a manicure and pedicure and my pedicure was literally THE WORST pedicure I have ever gotten in my life. Barely scrubbed my feet. Didn't get dirt out from under my nails, didn't cut them, barely filed them. Seriously a little kid would have done better. It took Soooo long!! Took over an hour and 15 for them to do like nothing. The girl just talked about her mission the entire time. I don't want to hear about your mission!! I came with my sister to have a good time but ended listening to this annoying girl that hasn't brushed her teeth in a week. There was paint like all over the sides of my toe. How is this professional At all? I know they are just students but come on! This was crap. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN! It costs like $17 too.... For crap. The manicure was crap too. All the paint is smudged. They seriously suck!!!! read more

I've been going to Evans for years! I have really long hair so I'm usually there a long time. Overall, it's not bad. You pay for what you get so if you want to be in and in and out then go to a a professional not a student. The prices have gone up a bit but it it beats $30 for a haircut when the instructors will make sure you're happy before you leave! read more

I love this hairstyling college so much! Mr Evans is extremely kind and since I have a pixie cut and I came in every month he could always explain to the stylists what I wanted for my haircut. The people are friendly and they have instructors come before and after each haircut to make sure you got exactly what you wanted. I seriously recommend this place to all of my friends, and the price for a $5 haircut can't be beat. read more
